Quick medical question

Sick, extremely post nasal drip, vomiting very frequently. HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE MY MEDICINE!?

 

Seriously I don’t know what to do. I can’t keep liquid down sometimes. 
 

What can I do?

What can I do?

If you can crush it or open the capsule,  put it in some juice or water. 

Have to do that with the autistic niece.

Crushing things up and putting it in juice like UwPp mentions will help with quicker absorption if it's pill. 

If it's liquid, reduce by half and take half immediately after a vomit attack while things are still reloading. Wait 10 minutes and if you haven't vomited again, take the other half. You might still puke but at least you'll have half already absorbed.

What uw and katt said works. Buttttttttt if it's time release meds, never crush them up. You'll overdose.

I’m home, they ran so many tests and said it’s just RSV. This is the devil’s anus of colds if that’s true. I feel so much better though, they pumped me full of stuff. So happy, I may even eat tomorrow.

It's not "just" RSV if you're the one who's got it. Drink lots of clear liquids and feel better soon!

first step might be to sip electrolyte solutions like pedialyte /liquid iv etc you can even try freezing it or making jello shots. Your stomach might be able to handle the jello easier.

I'm doing way way better, haven't vomited today and I was able to eat and take meds.  Thanks everyone for the advice and well-wishes!  All good to know if there's a next time, so it doesn't hopefully get this far.
