OwlChemist81 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 pretty sure R&M fucked that up too No, we did get one, and I think it aired during Kai.
Gyaos Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Basically, this monster they're inside is a living ecosystem in a literal sense.
CorbeauKarasu Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 THE FUCKING OCEAN!??? HOW FAR DID THAT THING TRAVEL?
Meilag32 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 It's one of those horrible asian beetles. They bite and stink.
Gyaos Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 She's reconsidering her life based on what she's been taught because of how Jack views the world around him.
Jeffchao228 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Greg Baldwin back in the next episode, this should be good.
CorbeauKarasu Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 there'sa part of me that wants to bitch about how it should take more than one episode to change her mind, but even if she's turned over this experience, I feel satisfied by that.
The1gairon Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 It appears Grey De Lise is Ashi. I mistook her for Tara Strong.
saito34 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 and Ashi's worldview has been shattered by a ladybug A little bit on the nose, but effective none the less
saito34 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 there'sa part of me that wants to bitch about how it should take more than one episode to change her mind, but even if she's turned over this experience, I feel satisfied by that. Agreed

Yup, wish they had enough episodes to stretch it out a bit, but it was still good.
ben0119 Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Damn it you stupid woman! Just cooperate! Jack should've tied your legs too. This is like something out of Space Dandy. Ah, those flying things are bigger than I thought. The flying jellyfish thing are probably bursting because this section of the creature is probably their natural habitat. That's why they aren't trying to "escape." Out, just in time! So, that's its back. We only saw parts. I'd be interested to see what the whole thing looks like. Unless maybe it's just the shell on the top and the giant mouth was on the bottom? Finally they're out! Ladybug! Wow Ashi's master was a bitch. How dare you squash that lovely ladybug! Now Ashi gets it...
The1gairon Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 It appears Grey De Lise is Ashi. I mistook her for Tara Strong. Or.... Maybe it IS Tara??? I'm so confused.
Zenigundam Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 So weird having those old Moltar reviews on my 60" HDTV. When he hosted Toonami, I watched on the long departed tiny Samsung in my room with the flap ya had to open to access the channel and volume buttons dials lol. Just so weird. When are Jack and Ashi gonna smash. I feel like he can have sex with her now.
DangerMouse Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Or.... Maybe it IS Tara??? I'm so confused. It looks like from the credits Tara Strong is Ashi and Grey DeLisle is the High Priestess.
Jman Posted April 10, 2017 Author Posted April 10, 2017 This show never ceases to amaze me in how blood and guts are added in but never coming off as excessive or unnecessary. It always adds to the story and characters. Also Ashi is gonna show up again soon I bet.

MasqueradeOverture Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 it never ceases to amaze me what a complete 180 you did on your opinion of this show after blood was added I think it was less of a hating Jack thing and more of a not wanting kids' shows on [AS] thing.
Jman Posted April 11, 2017 Author Posted April 11, 2017 I think it was less of a hating Jack thing and more of a not wanting kids' shows on [AS] thing. Essentially. That and making the show adult could have gone very badly, either being gratuitous or being a kids show with a curse or two censored. This straddles the line very well, being adult but still being Jack.
Blatch Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 I think it was less of a hating Jack thing and more of a not wanting kids' shows on [AS] thing. And RanIsla worshiping it to the point of annoyance.
CaptainStarwind Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 And RanIsla worshiping it to the point of annoyance. Well that and Bebop. I remember when Jack got cut from Toonami with only two episodes left, and how offended she was that Toonami wasn't going to take another show off the reduced lineup just to finish it off.
