...EVERYONE can get a bad frickin' back.

Well, everyone with a spine which naturally makes republicans immune. :|

And Princess Tinyhands has never done a second of farm work in his life. The closest he's ever gotten to real job type things is sitting in the driver's seat of big trucks and making engine noises for the photo op.

The NYS Farm Bureau opposed a state bill that would impose extreme heat standards on worksites and one of the things their *formal* opposition materials said was that farmworkers immigrated from warmer countries and are therefore comfortable working in extreme heat.

Just so genuinely, belligerently racist.

A white woman drives around with a Mexican flag sticker on her old truck that she put there intentionally.

She got pulled over by ICE in a SW state.

They asked why she had the sticker & she said, "It came with the truck".

They suggested she remove it.

She is "happy to waste their time".

Edit: Someone who replied said that this was a perfect "I AM SPARTICUS" example that everyone should use.

I guess it's most relevant to mention it here. I've been coming across shitty white American nationalist opinions praising Poland a lot lately for keeping "ethnically pure." The thing is their economic prosperity mainly comes from being part of the EU and they have a lower birth rate than Japan. How's that for nationalist and traditional ideals? 🙄

The first thing that came to mind here is that European ethnonationalists speak about polish immigrants the same way American ethnonationalists speak about hispanic immigrants.

Supreme Court lifts restrictions on ‘roving’ ICE raids in Los Angeles

The ruling blocks a lower court’s order that found the enforcement operations were based on impermissible factors.

The Supreme Court has lifted restrictions that barred the Trump administration from carrying out immigration-related raids in the Los Angeles area based on broad criteria such as speaking Spanish or gathering at locations day laborers often congregate.

The justices, who apparently divided 6-3 along ideological lines, put on hold a federal district judge’s order that reined in what critics called “roving” raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. That judge had found the tactics were likely unconstitutional because agents were detaining people without probable cause at car washes, bus stops and Home Depot parking lots based on stereotypes.

The high court’s majority offered no explanation for its decision to grant the Trump administration’s emergency appeal to block the district judge’s order. However, Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote separately in support of the decision, saying it was reasonable to briefly question people who meet multiple “common sense” criteria for possible illegal presence — including employment in day labor or construction, and limited English proficiency.

The court’s three liberal justices dissented.

“We should not have to live in a country where the Government can seize anyone who looks Latino, speaks Spanish, and appears to work a low wage job,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson. “Rather than stand idly by while our constitutional freedoms are lost, I dissent.”

Trump says he’ll direct Education Department to protect praying in public school

Trump reiterated plans to protect religious freedom in schools, a promise he made throughout the 2024 campaign.

President Donald Trump on Monday said that the Department of Education would soon be instituting new guidelines on the right to prayer in public schools.

Speaking from an event at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, Trump said there are “grave threats to religious liberty in American schools.”

“For most of our country’s history, the Bible was found in every classroom in the nation, yet in many schools today students are instead indoctrinated with anti-religious propaganda and some are punished for their religious beliefs. Very, very strongly punished,” Trump said. “It is ridiculous.”

Trump did not detail what the new guidance will include, but during the 2024 campaign he promised to “bring back prayer” to public schools.

The Department of Education did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

While religion is not banned in public schools, the Supreme Court ruled in 1962 that state-sponsored prayer in public schools violates the First Amendment.

During his first term, Trump required local educational agencies to confirm that their policies did not prevent students from expressing their religious beliefs in order to receive federal funding.

He had also issued new guidance clarifying that students are allowed to organize prayer groups, express their religious beliefs in their assignments and can read religious texts or pray during non-instructional periods. The guidance was similar to that of 2003 guidance instituted under former President George W. Bush.

On Monday, Trump vowed to protect Judeo-Christian principles.

“We have to bring back religion in America, bring it back stronger than ever before as our country grows stronger and stronger,” Trump said. “To have a great nation, you have to have religion.”

That's how they feel about the Warren Court in the 60s and Roe v. Wade etc. This is the end result of sixty years of plotting to "correct" everything.

That’s how they feel but they’re wrong

Who’s being “very strongly punished” in this country for their religious beliefs? No one is getting punished unless they’re pushing religion in public schools or other inappropriate public places

This is some more of that SCOTUS destroying the country.  I can’t wait until their decisions lead to a radical democrat president being able to do wtf they want.

it’s going to take 50 years or more to right the wrongs of this SC and the thought that it will take that long really pisses me off

By design, tho.. make it take too long for one Dem to actually fix, so next cycle they can point and say "look how ineffective they are."

And we're too fuckin dumb as a country cuz it keeps working every time.

i wonder if that includes salat, or allow for reverance for buddha, dharma and sangha, saakam, kali puja?

Should I bring out the Book of Nibblers or dig out the Gospel of FSM? Has the Church or the Temple of Satan set a schedule for school prayer stops yet?
