Anyone that's going to say shower or bathe....This isn't the thread for you and you need to wash your ass.

Shaving....I fucking hate shaving, but I've always hated facial hair on the sides of my face. Stache and goatee is cool, but I'll never have a full beard. And now, due to the sarcoid, I have to shave because the hair follicles....for some dumb reason make my face hurt when they grow past stubble.

But I haaaaaaaaate shaving. I literally put it off until I can no longer take it....like just now.

Another is clipping my nails. When I quit smoking, I lost the habit to bite my nails too. So they grow and grow until I wind up cutting myself with my claws and need to cut them. I don't really hate it, but I never really pay attention to it until I fuck around and hurt myself

Shaving.

It's annoying and during winter that I forget that razors exist until I start feeling that little leg hair flapping in the breeze. Then my OCD kicks back in.

Cleaning my room.

Wtf is that?

Nah, I have a ton of clutter and unnecessary shit I need to toss away but I do not ever leave food or anything open in my room.

I cannot stand when people just leave food or dirty dishes anywhere other than the kitchen or trash. It's probably one of the biggest reasons I rarely invite anyone over....really bih, that tea bottle couldn't find the trash can huh, just gonna leave that shit on the floor so someone can kick it under the couch.....you ate all the fries, why tf did you leave the box on the bar. Who raised you?

I shave my neck every day because neckbeards are terrible. I also shave my cheekbones daily because I do grow some hair there and I don’t want to look like a wolfman. Otherwise it’s just maintenance on the beard. I have my winter sized beards at the moment.

The mustache is out of control, so that’s my slack off.

I.... didn't say anything about dishes, and that's something I don't do.....

I...don't feel like I did. I made the joke like I didn't know what cleaning a room was...I was like nah, just to solidify that I was kidding....then I confessed my hoarding nature and disdain for food items being left around so it didn't sound like I was sleeping with Cheetos or some shit. Wanted to be clear on what I meant by clutter....

Then I did that thing where I should end my post but I keep typing because my brain hasn't opened the memo about the point being made 12 sentences ago.

I....didn't say you did.

I'll go reread to see if I implied it.

It was the "who raised you?" mixed with my general discomfort/embarrassment over my room. I got defensive.

Just kinda crossed my arms and went, "I was raised to clean my room. I just rarely have enough energy for basic stuff. 😢"

Ok cool... because if I'm being a dick, I will definitely tell you...I was just confused and kind concerned because do I like have ultra instinct dickishness now.

But I can understand that in a direct quote reply, it can be interpreted personally... probably could have worded it better

I used to get really lazy about shaving too, but I got an electric shaver for Christmas so now I shave more than once a week.

I need a close shave and no Norelco, Remington, or anything else can do what I need them to

Hand lotion.

It's not as bad as when I was working (back then, it was hand washing or alcohol based sanitizer every 5 or 10 minutes), but I still forget or put it off after I wash my hands or do the dishes, until I hit the point of wondering why my hands are so dry and itchy.

Shaving.

It's such a worthless pain. Who am I even doing this for, the kitten? She's hairier than me!

I've honestly used sandpaper on my legs rather than officially shaving them. Just sat in the chair in front of the computer watching a movie and sanding my legs.

Ive done that but with tweezers. For awhile I'd tweeze my leg hair. XD

Now THAT sounds painful as hell.

But strangely alluring if I wanted to make weird patterns in the leg warmers.

so a new friend gave me an anklet. she thought it was a bracelet. i'm not mad...at all, now i have a reason to shave.

ALSO...i didn't know, and will try and get back...but the dauther of said friend, said that using sugar scrub or something of the like before you shave (use a light gel), no bumps or the like, i dont' normally have that issue, but i'm going to try just to see how it feels, and i will report back.

p.p.s. i showed my new friend my leg. now...mind you i'm wearing work boots and strip athlete socks...and hair i can braid. she says...without skipping a beat (we are in the new friend stage)

'man...lesbians would love you'.

O_O

i'm pretty sure it was a compliment? maybe?

lol...iono...

Just thought of another one that probably applies here.

I never make my bed. Ever. From the time I get up to the time I lay down, it just stays a jumbled mess. I will change the sheets as needed, though. I’m not a complete monster.

I don't think any electric will do as well as a safety razor with lather soap after a shower.  However, this 9000 series Norelco has shaved a lot closer than I expected and well better than the one I had when I was first shaving.  The thing is, I can shave dry with the electric while with the safety I couldn't shave even with foam unless I first softened the stubble in the shower.  I also needed to a balm afterward to stave off the rash that I don't need now.  I'm only two months in, so time will tell what the electric blades are like when they're dull.  At least for the time being I don't look like I'm homeless four days out of the week.
