There are a lot of things that make me feel the same way but I don't treat them like they are an asteroid on a collision course with the moon. Especially when they are already living in another country.

I dont get how the carefully weighed system of checks and balances we had is just letting this farce play out, bro is doing everything from fucking with the NFL to dragging Obama out his ass with 0 evidence, all to cover his shitty, diapered ass and at no point, is there someone with the power that can just say "omfg, look....just get outta here, you've played long enough"

I guess I'm actually more interested in seeing if our government is so chickenshit as to let this play out for 4 years.

You’re right it’s definitely not just him. I suspect both dems and repubs are on them.  I wouldn’t be surprised if more republicans than Democrats were involved though. 

all I know is they’ve been really desperate to get MAGA to let this go.

Nah, I don't think anyone actually believes there aren't any dems listed.

But they're probably more likely to be people nobody cares about, possibly already out of politics, and generally people we'd all be fine completely disowning.

They're scared because they have too many sitting members at risk.

If you get a chance to read the EO there’s a lot of scary shit in there. The country doesn’t have the facilities any longer to involuntarily commit all the people that will get swept up in this EO if it takes effect. A lot more people are going to be disappeared and in some cases no family will be able to help because the people affected are likely estranged from them
