The judge was alerted that ICE was going to wait in ambush in the hallway outside her courtroom to arrest/deport without due process a guy that was on her docket for a dv. She ordered the defendant and his lawyer to leave through a side entrance and then escorted them both to an external non-public door out the back. The defendant was caught supposedly running away a few blocks from the courthouse although I'm guessing that it was more like they had people in the parking lot and pinched him getting into his own vehicle.

She was arrested and is out on bail but this is only a testing shot to see how much someone can get away with before either people riot or wear out from the constant threats.

So nothing she did actually stopped ICE from doing their jobs?

The Education Department launched an investigation Friday into the New York Department of Education for threatening to withhold money from a local school district because of its Native American mascot.

The mascot, an illustration of man wearing a feathered headdress, has been used for decades.

“The U.S. Department of Education will not stand by as the state of New York attempts to rewrite history and deny the town of Massapequa the right to celebrate its heritage in its schools,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said in a statement on Friday. “While New York chooses to prioritize erasing Native Americans, their rich history, and their deep connection [to the] state, it is requiring schools to divert time and resources away from what really matters: educating our students.”

The school board president applauded McMahon for her efforts.

“Attempts to erase Native American imagery do not advance learning—they distract from our core mission of providing a high-quality education grounded in respect, history, and community values,” said Kerry Wachter, president of the Massapequa Board of Education, in statement on Friday.

Key Context: More than two years ago, the state’s Education Department required school districts to eliminate mascots that appear to appropriate Native American culture or risk losing state funding.

The school board for Massapequa, a town that’s about an hour from New York city, has pushed against the measure and asked for the Trump administration to step in, the New York Post reported earlier this month.

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social Monday to express his sympathy to the board.

“I agree with the people in Massapequa, Long Island, who are fighting furiously to keep the Massapequa Chiefs logo on their Teams and School,” Trump wrote. “Forcing them to change the name, after all of these years, is ridiculous and, in actuality, an affront to our great Indian population.”

In that same post, he asked McMahon to step in and “fight for the people of Massapequa on this very important issue.”

The Native American Guardians Association filed a complaint with the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights, alleging that the state Education Department and the New York Board of Regents is violating federal civil rights law. They claim the state can’t force the Massapequa School District to eliminate the mascot based on its association with Native American culture, according to the U.S. Education Department.

NAGA has a history of trying to preserve sports mascots and names many people and communities find offensive, including the Washington Commanders football team, whose previous name the group has wanted restored.

I gotta laugh it’s just so obviously bullshit  and their defense of the mascot is absolutely ridiculous. The logo isn’t a cartoon but if NYS schools are like “we aren’t doing this anymore” then don’t do it. The seal is on every other thing in the town anyway. It’s on the fire dept insignia. It’s not like they’d never see it again

So after watching this, I didn't start thinking immediately of the last election, but the previous one.  Trump telling the Georgia Governor, find me 11,000 votes.  I thought it was because that was only what he needed to win, but what if it was because he knew that that SPECIFIC amount of ballots actually existed and if so how would he know?

Someone gimme a synopsis of the Titus vid cuz i can’t watch him talk for an hour and a half 🫠

In some cases, a number of votes was reached, and that seemed to trigger a big shift toward red from that point on.

In some cases, a time of day was reached, and that seemed to trigger a big shift toward red from that point on.

It appears that these things happened in specific precincts in swing states with some other areas in the same swing state to a lesser extent - perhaps to make it appear to be happening across the board.

Titus on the above: Well, you couldn't do that, you'd need some really rich guy to pay some hackers to mess with machines.

2020 election had more mail-in votes due to covid.  It is much harder to fix mail-in votes. Someone whining that the election was "rigged" because of all the mail-in votes...I wonder who?

Do you need a tinfoil hat if the statistical data shows that these precinct election results have a very bizarre anomaly compared to every other previous election in every precinct (bell curves, with a "Russian tail"...just like in sudden shifts in late votes toward Putin in Russian elections)?  Looking at the mail-in votes, Kamala was a shoe-in, if the pattern carried over to the in-person votes...and it seems to look that way with early returns.  Then a time or a threshold was reached and red starts taking over.

https://electiontruthalliance.org/pennsylvania-part-2  Take a look about halfway down the page, Allegheny county mail-in with election day voting right below it.  If you were to trace a curve over the mail-in, it would look like a normal bell curve.  The election day shifts late & isn't a normal curve.

That is a long podcast and its nail biting the whole way through.

I got about 40 minutes in.  The implication is that there an anomalies and they're all centered on the computer tabulation itself.  There is no indication that there was actual ballot stuffing or deliberate destruction of physical votes but the data shows that there are abnormal count patterns that would warrant cross checking the count with the actual paper ballots (of which even electronic ballot boxes have).

I particularly liked the Philadelphia example.  The city still went to Harris, but the count at the end of the day shows an inconsistently large number of Trump votes.  This might happen in a situation where a hacked computer "stuffs" the ballot with enough Trump votes to affect his overall popularity in the state but not enough to set off warnings about an obviously blue metropolitan region going red.

I'll have to watch more when I have more time.  Just suggesting there's an algorithm out there is a bombshell, but coming up with such an algorithm is extremely complicated and well beyond Elon Musk's capabilities as a second rate coder with self -aggrandizement  issues. For this to work, there has to be a real conspiratorial organization behind it.   Just seeing the anomaly is only a start and it might not go where we think it will.

All of those anomalies are irrelevant and do nothing but drive people insane. Even if without a doubt the election was stolen, nothing will change.  We been there and done something similar in 2000 with the hanging chad. SCOTUS said basically “Bush probably didn’t win but there’s nothing we can do about it now”

we don’t even have to go down rabbit holes when the election was stolen right in front of our faces through voter roll purges and mail in ballot invalidation.

It should also be pointed out that the instructions for proper dress attire explicitly stated BLACK suits and BLACK ties for the men.

I'm colorblind and even I know that's not black.

“They can’t tell me how to dress!” -Trump, probably

remember when Obama got dragged for wearing a tan suit? He wasn’t even at a funeral and they went on and on and on about it

I don’t even know. I know on some calendars it was renamed “indigenous people’s day” but other than that nothing changed. NYC still has a Columbus Day parade and I think there’s still statues of him standing across the country.

Trump is against anything that paints Europeans in a bad light.  It’s just fact that Columbus was a disaster for indigenous people.  Native Americans had huge bustling cities no different than Europe. They might’ve looked very different but their purpose was the same.  There were even more people on the continent than in Europe but diseases wiped them out. By the time the mayflower landed 3/4 of the population was gone

Tomorrow is election day in Canada. I'm feeling very anxious, but the Wisconsin election has given me hope. Trump has made right wing populism rather unpopular around the word. Trump is the single biggest issue for Canadian voters.

From the way Canadians make it sound, any Trump aligned candidates are going to get trounced.
