Howard Stern had Trump on his show many times as well way back in the 90s

But not many listened to Stern, or may not have had access.  Chicago had it's own "shock jocks".

What was the price of gasoline the day before Trump's first term began and what was it on the last day of that term?

What happened to the price six months after Jo Jo was inaugurated?

Eight years wasn’t apparently enough for anyone to see what the Trumpster does about government fraud…. Or was it?

Nobody has answered this question because it's an arbitrary rubric since gas prices rise and fall every day. To assume the last day of a term is anything special is 1st grader logic. The price on 2 days out of 8 years as your frame of reference is downright absurd.

No, I'm talking about the steady increase over the past four years.

You say rising and falling every day?

That's what graphs are for.  You can see every upward and downward movement and STILL see a steady trend upward over all since Jo Jo was inaugurated.

In 2020, it was two per gallon, it peaked at four per gallon since then.  Today, it's about three and a half and Jo Jo now takes credit for reducing it?  Let me see it drop to one and a half.  THAT would be a reduction.

Would've been nice to start with something of this sort instead of 2 days.

Is it possible the deregulation of gasoline companies under Trump resulted in price gouging under Biden?

  Quote

The new probe follows revelations from the Federal Trade Commission that former Pioneer CEO Scott Sheffield attempted to work with OPEC to manipulate global oil and gas production, increase oil and gas prices, and boost his company’s profits.

The FTC completed its investigation as part of its review of ExxonMobil’s bid to acquire Pioneer, a $64.5 billion deal that represents the largest fossil fuel merger in 20 years.

“Based on recent events involving Pioneer Natural Resources Company, soon to merge with ExxonMobil Corporation, I am concerned about the possibility that oil and gas companies could be engaging in collusive, anti-competitive activities with OPEC+ that would raise crude oil prices, resulting in higher costs not only for American families, but also for the U.S. government when it acquires crude oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve,” wrote Chairman Whitehouse in letters sent to the CEOs of APA Corporation, BP, Chesapeake Energy, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Continental Resources, Crownquest, Diamondback Energy, Endeavor, EOG Resources, ExxonMobil, Hess, Marathon, Occidental, Ovintiv, Permian Resources, Shell, and SM Energy.

A recent report found that illegal crude oil price-fixing schemes may have caused over 25 percent of the increase in inflation that hurt many American families in the wake of the COVID- 19 pandemic, and the FTC’s findings suggest that Sheffield and Pioneer may not have been the only ones engaging in collusive activities. Furthermore, recent private class action lawsuits filed against oil producers operating in the Permian Basin region accuse those producers of illegally working together to depress oil production and price-gouge Americans.

Let's see, why would the price be low when Biden started...maybe because of the covid shutdown, when people were staying home and there was an artificial surplus?  Now, why would it rise?  Maybe Russia attacking Ukraine & threatening other European countries, who decided to impose sanctions along with many other countries?  Without the supply provided by Russia, and a stable (or increasing) demand against less supply, where do you think the price was going to go?

joe biden's real last shot is preemptive pardons

  Quote

Statement from President Joe Biden

Our nation relies on dedicated, selfless public servants every day. They are the lifeblood of our democracy.

Yet alarmingly, public servants have been subjected to ongoing threats and intimidation for faithfully discharging their duties.

In certain cases, some have even been threatened with criminal prosecutions, including General Mark A. Milley, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, and the members and staff of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions.

General Milley served our nation for more than 40 years, serving in multiple command and leadership posts and deploying to some of the most dangerous parts of the world to protect and defend democracy. As Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he guided our Armed Forces through complex global security threats and strengthened our existing alliances while forging new ones.

For more than half a century, Dr. Fauci served our country. He saved countless lives by managing the government’s response to pressing health crises, including HIV/AIDS, as well as the Ebola and Zika viruses. During his tenure as my Chief Medical Advisor, he helped the country tackle a once-in-a-century pandemic. The United States is safer and healthier because of him.

On January 6, 2021, American democracy was tested when a mob of insurrectionists attacked the Capitol in an attempt to overturn a fair and free election by force and violence. In light of the significance of that day, Congress established the bipartisan Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol to investigate and report upon the facts, circumstances, and causes of the insurrection. The Select Committee fulfilled this mission with integrity and a commitment to discovering the truth. Rather than accept accountability, those who perpetrated the January 6th attack have taken every opportunity to undermine and intimidate those who participated in the Select Committee in an attempt to rewrite history, erase the stain of January 6th for partisan gain, and seek revenge, including by threatening criminal prosecutions.

I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics. But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing. Baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families. Even when individuals have done nothing wrong—and in fact have done the right thing—and will ultimately be exonerated, the mere fact of being investigated or prosecuted can irreparably damage reputations and finances.

That is why I am exercising my authority under the Constitution to pardon General Mark A. Milley, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee. The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense. Our nation owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.

There was barely a riot at all in the Capitol Building.  You had one dude dressed like a retarded Viking, being led and escorted around by security, one dude in an unauthorized area, playing with a gavel and then, a few little old ladies who were waved in by security and proceeded to gawk around, taking pictures.

Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground,
You in mid-air,
Where are the clowns?
Isn't it bliss?
Don't you approve?
One who keeps tearing around,
One who can't move,
Where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns?
Just when I'd stopped opening doors,
Finally knowing the one that I wanted was yours
Making my entrance again with my usual flair
Sure of my lines
No one is there
Don't you love farce?
My fault, I fear
I thought that you'd want what I want
Sorry, my dear!
But where are the clowns
Send in the clowns
Don't bother, they're here
Isn't it rich?
Isn't it queer?
Losing my timing this late in my career
But where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns
Well, maybe next year

They’re already here!

I think any time anyone mentions jan 6, you need to say every word of my and pooh's post together

"a mob violently storming the seat of power of the federal government of the united states of america with the sole purpose of overthrowing our democracy"

you have to say every single one of those words every time

if people continue to reject the premise, we'll at least bore them to death having to sit through it every time

Of course, that particular quote is patently false.  First, the Jan 6 crowd was deliberately invited in by Capitol security.  Second, it could have been easily prevented, just by stationing some National Guard officers outside the Capitol to block entry, as I'm quite sure that all involved would have then done nothing other than stand around outside, chanting to anybody that would listen or tape them.
