Its truly remarkable just how effective Israel has been at their war. Not only are they taking out some of the most vile evil people on the planet, but they now have terrorist groups basically doing the spider man meme.

Just so you know, that’s not a win for Israel.  It’s a sign of a disorganized and haphazard campaign and indicates they have started to lose control of war.

But there are still hospitals and pre-schools standing.

Yeah, almost like they didn’t have to do it because they can be horrifyingly precise when the situation calls for it.

Absolutely incredible news. The rat bastard is dead and can rot in hell for all eternity. One of the most evil pieces of shit on this planet is dead. And the video of his last minutes was absolutely glorious. Just a pure piece of shit that got what was coming to him.

Makes everything worth it. All the hard work by the IDF to flush out all the Hamas terrorists and leave nowhere to hide. His last days were spent hiding among civilians dressed as a woman being moved from house to house in total fear.

Big props to Bibi as well who knew he had to prosecute this war wherever it took Israel to ensure their continued safety. He knew he couldnt listen to the useful idiots in the West and had to go for the kill. And he knew he couldnt listen to Biden and Harris who said multiple times that going into Rafah would be a disaster. It wasnt, it was where the IDF absolutely needed to go to truly decimate Hamas.

Just amazing work all around. And that young soldier who got him wont buy a beer ever again. This is right up there with the killing of Bin Laden.

I don't know how someone could be so proud to be so wrong for so free.

I picture you seeing flattened cities and saying the same thing.

There's a surreal cruelty to calling anything in this "beautiful."

I can accept being glad a bad person died. Leadership of terrorist organizations are generally made up of vicious monsters and the world is better without them. Their goals are to make the world worse, obviously we're better without them.

MD reads like someone who would look at corpses of "terrorists" (Palestinians, regardless of guilt) and feel joy. It's creepy.

Yes, it’s amazing work that a bunch of trainees killed the monster after a year and 40,000 innocent Palestinian civilians as collateral damage.

Netanyahu better enjoy the moment as much as you do, because his career is about to come to a dramatic end.

Thats both hilarious and genius. Hezbollah is not popular in Lebanon, but they control the money and weapons. By telling the entire world where they are storing their money that gives the Lebanese military a chance to raid it, or even for citizens to go raid the bank.

This follows the IDF strategically targeting Hezbollah banks and finance centers in the last 48 hours.

After decapitating Hezbollah the IDF are working to take out one of the last remaining pillars of their strength, finances. Take that out and the entire thing collapses.

Yes. Completely disregard that they constantly declare that places like hospitals are the secret manhole covers for massive underground mansions full of terrorists rolling around nekid in piles of money in order to bomb said hospitals full of civilians flat and cry that it's not a war crime, it's fighting crime! :|

I'm going to direct this question at MD knowing that I'll never get a satisfactory response, because she never backs up what she posts here, but still: what the hell is your angle here? Why are you so gleefully obsessed over every action Israel takes during this war? Like Christ, I could almost understand it if you actually lived over there. What you said would still be gross as shit, but at least you'd have a personal stake in it. Or even if you had some family members or friends living there, but as far as any of us know you don't. You're just some random person living halfway across the planet who gets a bigger ladyboner every time Israel murders more innocent Muslim children. And that leads me to one inescapable conclusion about your motivations.

You know who has a real stake in all of this? The families of the hostages. And you know what? They fucking despise Netanyahu, because they see him for what he truly is. They know he's completely ignored their pleas for a cease-fire because he doesn't give a single shit about whether their family members live or die. In fact, he'd prefer them dead, because then he can use them as martyrs to kill more innocent Muslim children.

Ive been waiting to post on the recent Israeli strike on Iran until we heard more about it. The initial reports made it sound like the attacks were small and a failure, doesnt look like that was actually the case.

Israel took out primary Iranian air defenses, left it ‘essentially naked’ – report

https://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-strike-on-iran-took-out-radar-sets-to-guide-ballistic-missiles-report/

"The four Russian-made S-300 air defense systems that Israel has reportedly destroyed in strikes on Iran this year — one in April, and three this past weekend — had been the only such systems possessed by the Islamic Republic as of the beginning of this year, according to a Tuesday report.

Fox News quoted an unnamed senior Israeli official as saying that “the majority of Iran’s air defense was taken out.”

A senior US official confirmed that, among other key military targets, the Saturday airstrikes took out three S-300 systems. The strikes came after Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel at the beginning of the month.

Iran only had four S-300 systems at the beginning of the year and Israel already destroyed one of them in April following Iran’s previous rocket attack on the country, the report said.

The tally matched that of a Wall Street Journal report on Sunday that said all of Iran’s S-300s are now out of action"

So while the strike was fairly focused and contained, it has some pretty devastating impacts on Irans ability to defend itself. Iran is essentially without any sort of air defenses. Thats a huge problem for Iran now if they decide to strike Israel, or use puppets to lash out. Israel has already shown they can get in and out of Iranian airspace even when Iran has active AA, but now that they dont have any it basically leaves the air open to whatever Israel wants to do. Thats a very smart tactic for Israel as now Iran is significantly weakened, and wide open to any counterattack if Iran does something stupid.

Interestingly, oil dropped sharply on reports that Iran’s oil production facilities were untouched.  I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an agreement with its allies to not hit anything that affects the global economy.

There was a lot of chatter leading up to the attack that Israel worked with the US to make sure to not hit Iranian oil facilities.

Hitting the oil facilities is also on-par with hitting the nuclear facilities. Basically, its only for a full blown war and not for this tit-for-tat attack cycle.

Makes sense to me.  Now hopefully that restraint holds and cooler heads prevail.

Hopefully. Seems like its a good place for both Iran and Israel to stop fucking with each other. Theyve made their points, time to cool it before it spirals any further.

US to Iran: Avoid strikes or face unrestrained Israeli retaliation - report

https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-827270

"The Biden administration recently cautioned Iran against launching another attack on Israel, emphasizing that it could not restrain an Israeli response if provoked again, Walla reported on Saturday evening.

The warning follows Iran’s October 1 attack on Israel, which retaliated against Israeli targeted operations. Israel's response included strikes on military targets but excluded strategic sites like nuclear and oil facilities. These facilities could be potential targets should Iran initiate further attacks.

A senior US official disclosed to Walla that Washington informed Tehran it would not be able to prevent Israel from reacting or ensure that any response would remain as limited and precise as before. This communication marked a rare direct message between the US and Iran."

The US also moved a bunch of B-52s into the region in case they are needed. Iran needs to be very careful or they will be factory reset. The election is over on Tuesday, and a lot of people think that the US has been trying to keep a lid on things for election purposes. Once those arent there anymore, who knows what Israel, and the US, might do if Iran decides to get stupid.

This is not the first or even the  one hundred and first time Israel bombed areas that specifically were labeled as safe zones. This is like their strategy at this point. Label roads and locations as safe and then bomb the shit out of or shoot the fuck out of anyone the IDF sees

Netanyahu already spoke to Trump and promised to stop the fighting. So he kept killing innocent men women and children to own the Dems.  Wonderful. That’s our “ally”

Yup.

It’s the Iranian hostage deal all over again.

That said they also got the bonus of completely dismantling Hezbollah.  Which given the Mideast’s desire for normalization, is an inadvertent positive.  A dot in the sea of senseless bombings.

I been trying to avoid the news because it’s making me lose my mind but I can’t help myself.

I always suspected that that’s what he was doing and I won’t be surprised if we discover they (trump and Netanyahu) spoke about this previously. Zero percent chance they didn’t speak and do a “if you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours”

There was definitely fuckery, even if the world seeing Hezbollah crippled isn’t exactly a big loss.
