Damn. I don't really know this dude...I saw him on Beavis and Butthead probably but to be 56 and in fucking hospice from drinking is brutal. I always wonder just how close I might have been though I doubt I was anywhere in this ball park

I wasn’t necessarily a fan of their music, but “Walking on the Sun” was one of my favorite songs my sophomore year in high school. Rest in Peace, Steve. Thanks for making my sophomore year a lot more bearable.

It's always disconcerting when middle aged people are dying from physical ailments usually reserved for much older people.  I didn't know about him starting to drink after losing his son - it makes it all the more tragic.
