I never really watched DCAU Batman when I was younger - yes, I know, there's something wrong with me - but what I have heard and remember of Conroy's performance was really good. He also did a great job as Captain Sunshine in Venture Bros., even if actually playing the character in his first appearance was said to have made him uncomfortable. ("WONDERBOOOOOOOY!")

So yeah, this really does suck. R.I.P. T_T7

The best part about playing the Arkham games was listening to Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill play off each other again. It was like being transported back to my childhood.

I’d like to share something Conroy did before he passed, an autobiographical comic he did for DC called “Finding Batman”, explaining how the role fit with his own struggles as a gay actor in the 80s and 90s.  Honestly reading it made me respect him that much more.
