What was the first game you bought with your own money?

I believe it was Super Mario Sunshine.

The next door neighbor kid borrowed it one time and never brought it back. At this point, he no longer lives there and I am also assuming he is no longer a kid.

Walmart used to have these 2-pack pc games for $10.

Pretty certain it would have been Sim Tower/Sim Isle, but it may have been BattleZone 2/Heavy Gear 2.

Fucking incredible value I tell you what.

Pretty sure I got Black and White/the Creature Isle expansion in the same way.

Gundam: Battle Assault.

It was like 40 bucks and I remember trying to buy it in Target. I had 2 twenties in my pocket when I left home and when I got to target and the lady took it out of the case to ring it up I couldn't find the second 20 and I panicked .... and after I was like sorry I dont have enough, I found the other fucking twenty folded inside the one in my hand.

First game I bought myself with Christmas or birthday money I think was Super Mario RPG on SNES. I'm not entirely sure though, may have also been an N64 or PS1 game(Goldeneye and Legend of Legaia come to mind).

First I bought with my own money from a real job I believe was Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 for GBA. I'm about 95% sure on this one, I had to wait 30-45 mins for my ride to pick me up every day and got it to play while waiting.

No clue. The furthest back that I remember buying was back when I was 10yo back in 2003. I spent about two months cutting my grandparents grass for $15, it was just before we went to Florida that Summer I had enough saved to buy a GBA SP and PKMN Ruby. Good times.
