Ah, melatonin - seratonin?  That's the only reason I could think of why melatonin could effect anti-dep/anxiety meds, but obviously I don't know the natural bodily properties of these. Heh.

My doc recommended melatonin at one point and it didn't seem to make any difference.

unfortunately no experience there.

my problem with sleep is not the falling asleep portion, but the getting to sleep.

No. I HAVE had luck with it for joint pain, though. Works wonders for that and muscle aches.

MMM... The lady at the shop I go to swears on the oil you can mix with water or something for most things. I've been buying the highest CBD/THC percent buds I can only from them since infrequent marijuana smoking has ended up ruining my job opportunities so much in the last 5 years..

once i actually close my eyes and shut my brain down, it doesnt take that long for me to knock out. 

but my problem is getting distracted by either looking at videos or reading stuff way past the time i should sleep. so most nights i work i get something like 5-6 hours of sleep vs the 8 hours we need to feel best. on my off days, i get 8 hours cuz i wake up late lol.

Ah okay I hear that. I feel like I go through something similar where if I can just shut my brain down and actually relax, I will knock out.  But instead I was up til 6 am.

But I say fuck everything else and will still sleep 8 hours and then start my day whenever that is each day.

how early you gotta get up? i think i remember you saying something about working later hours but that was awhile back and my memory isnt sharp right now. speaking of sleeping im at the time where if i sleep now i get under 8 hours of sleep but i plan on staying up late a bit longer lol. at least napping helps.

I wana elaborate on this for the "real weed" proponents in this thread

Someone gave me one of these things, it was like 50/50 thc/cbd mix and it knocked me out like no other. I was skeptical as it was kicking in, then I was just out in such a relaxing way.

So while I've only had cbd like 3 or 4 times, I'm inclined to think there may be something to mixing it w/thc for sleep. I intend to explore this theory further when I return to a recreational state.

I'd just have to assume sativa if you're not a daily smoker, because as a casual, indica should get you to sleep or at least chill you all the way out so you could easily fall asleep when you need to. But I do know some people have a natural tolerance....or at least I've heard that. I wish I could roll you one just to see for my own curiosity
