Kudasai Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 I brought some sandwich making material for lunch today including a loaf of bread and when I went on break and started to make my sandwich half of whole loaf of bread was gone. Geeze I'm always willing to share you don't have rifle through my lunch to help yourself like a thief in the night. I ended buying a new loaf of bread because who the hell knows where this person hands have been. I suppose it's my fault for not making my sandwich at home but I was running late. Has a co-worker ever stolen your lunch? How did you handle it? And if you're someone who does this, why just why? 1 2
Sawdamizer Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Someone ate half a loaf of bread? Sounds hungover. 1
Naraku4656 Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 My lunches are throughly uninteresting enough that I've avoided having it eaten
scoobdog Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 My office is too small to get away with lunch stealing.
André Toulon Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 I've had my lunch stolen so i will steal a lunch.....idgaf. But i haven't in almost a decade because i don't trust food that other people have had in their possession....no point in it unless its..........REVENGE. But seriously, if i find out someone got my shit, i will just throw their shit in the trash off principle. I don't fuck with people's food without reason though. 1
Seight Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 When I was a telemarketer I heard someone on the floor got fired because they stole THE MEAT out of somebody's sandwich. 2
Gyaos Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 (edited) I actually complained about this in one of the Rants & Editorials sticky threads last week. Someone stole my beef brisket tacos I made by hand. HR hasn't found the culprit yet, but I doused both of my tacos in hot sauce after my lunch was stolen the first time. They only took one instead of both tacos after that. Edited February 18, 2020 by Gyaos
molarbear Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I've never had a problem with coworkers stealing food. At my last job I always bought one of those pre made walmart sandwiches before work and ate those because there isn't much open at 3 am and waffle house doesn't taste nearly as good when you're sober. The funny story behind that is I ate with 4 other coworkers in my little area of the shop. One of them told his wife a guy he worked with ate sandwiches every night (I don't know why that's a bad thing) so she started making extra food for him to bring me, and holy shit could she cook.
Still Me Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 No...never stolen a lunch....stole a bottle of water tho....i was thirsty as fuck and they had a whole damn case.... As for your situation....I suggest you write your name on your shit
