bnmjy
cost too much money, bitch Plus most of the trash will eventually degrade or decompose and become nutrients or new materials for other shit to form.
Naraku4656
Plus constant rocket fuel wouldn't be great for the environment either

Lasty
Maybe if we had a working space elevator. Our planet’s gravity may be too great...

The kind of rocket needed for that would be enormous. Likely bigger than one we have available. You'd still need a force great enough to lift hundreds of millions of tons of trash. The ecological cost and economic consequences of considering that would be astronomical. A better solution is to reduce the amount we use and to recycle more. If gundams are a logical consequence of space elevators, then we definitely need space elevators, even if they’re being destroyed

Azalar Hex
At least fire that shit into the sun. Do we really need to become a planet that leaves a stream of shit spiraling out into the void? This is the logic people who flick their cigarettes out their window when they drive have. "If I don't see it it's not my problem"

Doom Metal Alchemist
We already have a lot of "space junk" aka abandoned pieces of rockets and space craft in orbit that is generally thought of as a problem in the scientific community. And I think orbiting is the problem, if we do the minimum to launch it into space, it'll just orbit the Earth. Who knows how that would affect the atmosphere and consequently our environment. And if we put forth a lot of effort into sending it far enough that it doesn't orbit Earth it might find some other planet to orbit around and do who knows what to its atmosphere and environment.
