I tried to go to Popeyes today to get their new chicken sandwich I've been hearing so much about. Apparently they aren't gonna have any for another two hours. I still got some chicken tenders cause Popeyes chicken is the bomb diggity.

Some ladies came in looking for some chicken sandwiches and are waiting on their car outside right now. For two hours. For a sandwich.

Yea it's popeyes all i get from there are buckets. So like I'm sure the sandwich is great but I want way more chicken. Maybe like the sandwich and a bucket

Well more so the peopleare going to wait 2 hours for one.  

I once waited 1 hour for rotisserie duck....It was delicious, but still....Disappointing after the fact.  Popeye's chicken sammich isn't THAT good....I had one months ago, so I'm not sure why all the fuss, other than people are idiots and like being told what to like and do.

The Popeye's by me feels like it takes forever if there only a few people in line, can't imagine how they are dealing with this sandwich craze.

They did seem a bit faster last time or two I went though so maybe they've gotten better.

same here. i couldnt stand the wait at popeyes years ago and stopped going.. def not going now

I mean to be fair they actually did end up leaving after like 20 minutes. It looked like they were gonna wait it out at first  though.

They will definitely be back.  I don't know how true it is but I saw someone say the were taking reservations.  I so hope that was a joke.

I had to wait 20 minutes to get gas yesterday.

Some bitch tried to pull into the spot I was waiting on.

I told her to fuck off and get in line.

People are going apeshit because of the hurricane.

Long gas lines, empty shelves. 

It's sucks.

I imagine....I've been in a few, and if it actually does anything, just wait until you see the lines for gas AFTER it like Katrina. (which I doubt will happen)....I lived off MREs for a few months because stores didn't have shit and what they did have, they were price gouging.  Cases of water were as high as 30 bucks if you could find one.

But all that aside, this seemed to be an odd place to bring that up.

Just imagining privileged hussies get huffy because they had to wait for a chicken sammich.

My folks lived in Central FL and had 2 'canes go over in one season.  My Mom said people rushed in and bought tons of water, yet what was the first thing that got trucked in & handed out for free once the 'canes were gone?  Water.

Oh well, Buddy talked my mama into taking him to IHOP....He says we never take him anymore, which is bullshit but that's the only place he ever wants to eat besides the steak buffet.....But I hate IHOP.  So she asked if I wanted her to bring me something back and I was like nah.  Then I thought about it....I can get one of these chicken sandwiches and troll my poor friends back home who can't seem to get one.  I know we have them because they've been here since like March or something....No one is fighting over that shit here.  Hell, I didn't even know they were new then.

I thought they always had chicken sandwiches...They have shrimp poboys too.....But they ain't real.

I had one not too long ago and now that I think about it....It was better than Popeye's. The breading was definitely different, but I don't know if they bread them on site or if they come that way.

Interesting. I always end up getting a whopper since I'm usually in a hamburger mood, but the chicken sandwiches look good. I need to try one. There's no Popeyes in this town. There's a resuarant called Chicken  Express that's the go to chicken joint for the little town I live in.
