They're detention camps, because they have to be detained while their parents are being processed. Again you must still not be around him enough, or see what he posts on other topics. Besides getting stuff wrong about anime, he gets other stuff wrong and goes into Chicken Little mode constantly. He claimed a user who posted pictures of his guns was threatening people. Now, said user is probably one of the worst people here, but I dont see him as making threats, and everyone else contradicted Mochi's version of events on this, and none of those people like that user either.
