Bleach ending probably going to be animated

Bleach was my DBZ essentially.  It's the first shonen I followed all the way through (the dub, then sub) and is what got me joining all iterations of this board.  So I will be excited if it finally gets animated.

I never saw Bleach.

Give it to ANY studio not named Pierrot and I will watch this reboot.

That would be the likely scenario. Madhouse and Gianax are my favorites.

I'd say Naruto's more my DBZ than Bleach, but even then, I quit watching after CN stopped airing episodes, and only got around to finishing the original series early this year.

That said, I wouldn't mind more Bleach, just so long as Pierrot is made very well aware that the new anime is finite.

Bleach with no filler could be pretty cool.

They could also add in all the stuff they left out the first time in order to make room for filler.

Bleach with no filler and updated animation would actually be fantastic.

The plot isn't entirely terrible. People do die after all in it. And let's be real, that's where the bangers are.

If anything Kubo may just have made that Instagram for the upcoming movie.

I thought the same thing too, but idk, reboots are in right now.

It could be really well done, and worth watching, if done correctly.

The question is if they do it correctly or not

From everything I understand the last part of Bleach was a hilarious clusterfuck, so I genuinely want to see it animated and revel in the trainwreck.

Yea. That's the one thing Bleach, imo, has had over naruto and one piece.

It's kinda grittier ( at least the delivery), and swords are just awesome.

Madhouse? Lul.

Eh.

Not really.

I read the manga each week as it was serialized.

I thought it was.

Kubo spent months doing.......nothing.  Everyone knew that the series was going to end and he didnt wrap up like 90% of the story lines that he had created.  Instead it was "LOL ITS OVER!" and was a huge letdown.  That was always his problem though.  He spent way to much time never advancing the story.

If it had the super-gritty parts to it it could be pretty cool.  At the same time some of the more light hearted stuff was important to have as well.

Oh man, forgot about a couple of those.  The show could be pretty gritty if they really wanted it to be.

.....now I want to see gritty bleach.

I can keep going too hahhahaha

Also it took place in the modern, everyday world.  ... okay DBZ does too but we barely see it, and his cartoony style doesn't make it look relatable.

We'll see.

Months will tell. Chances are Bleach is probably dead, but here I am hoping, just hoping for a reboot and something new to watch once a week.

Thats the crazy thing about that show.  Its a lot darker than you first think.  I remember a few scenes where I was like "woah, didnt expect that".

Yeah. Prolly the most fucked is ichigo finding out the entire truth about his mother and grand fisher

That was pretty early on to if I remember correctly.  Sorta the first intro into the whole "This is going to be darker than you expected" mindset.

So did I. It was a disorganized clusterfuck.

Remember when Mayuri wasted three fucking months fighting a disembodied arm? Cookiebones? Ichigo being absent from his own series for like a solid year there?

I remember you-know-who dropping it after they killed off a certain character without bothering to consider the possibility of them not actually being dead.

Are we talking about grimmjow?
