how did asta not completely lose it when meeting "the wizard king," and why did he tell the previous villain that yuno wasn't his to fight because yuno was his rival? does that make any sense to any of you?

When you're as ripped as Asta, you've already got an up on sex appeal compared to most other shonen protags.

Well there are a couple of things working against it. It's a couple years old, it's not getting more than 1 weeks promotion, and it's airing third after Kai. 

It's also such a big anime that almost everyone has seen it in the last 2 years.

For what it's worth, you can block whoever you even have mild disagreement with.

About Megalo Box, it's only being streamed by Crunchyroll. Coincidentally, shows with that distinction tend to see delays with being dubbed. Re:Zero came out all the way back in Spring 2016 and is only getting a home video release soon. The benchmark seems to be two years on average, and therefore, I don't think we're going to see this get dubbed for a while. Maybe in early 2020, you can talk to CR about it.

This goes beyond Toonami posters bitching about Black Clover. Throughout last year, you did the same thing; bitching about Tokyo Ghoul in other sub-forums around this board. Meanwhile, Tokyo Ghoul was "trending" on social media. It's like some of you have serious OCD with shows you have a personal hatred for.

Like I said more than once or twice, if you don't like a show, don't watch it. There are shows you love, that some of  us simply hate too. However, we don't post divisive threads or purposely go out our way to derail other posters' threads to complain and mock their fans. If we did, you would be legitimately sick of us.

I was about to post another thread in Anime & Manga. Because I know there will be at least 1 poster there to derail it because they have a problem with a show for whatever reason, I had changed my mind.

Do any of you people genuinely like any of the shows you watch, or are you only worried about a show's ratings and its popularity or lack thereof?

I've tried getting some friends to come back to this board to post, but they don't want to come back. They don't want to sit and read the negative, backhanded, and divisive remarks in threads about something or someone.

There were threads in other sub-forums I almost posted in over the last 2 weeks or so. Then, I changed my mind because it didn't take long for a poster to make some snide remark or to mock someone else' sub-culture or something else.

Posting on this board really isn't that much fun. I actually question why I still bother to lurk or post here.

To be fair, you did walk into a Mochi thread. A thread Mochi made about Black Clover. You knew what this was.

It also seems like you enjoy a lot of anime that are critically despised. Which is fine, but when you like anime that are critically despised, you're going to have to deal with the fact that a lot of people aren't going to like it and are going to be pretty vocal about it. Especially if it's taking up a slot on the Toonami roster and getting bad ratings.

If you just want to hear nice things about BC there's tons of people who actually do like BC. I'm sure there's fan forums that only have to contend with a troll now and then.

I haven't seen Tokyo Ghoul and never jump on that hate train, but Black Clover deserves the vitriol. It's a show that's been blatantly shoved down people's throats as the great new shonen while it has done nothing to earn that distinction. If it was just a shitty show without the insulting amount of shilling pretending that's it's not trash, I would just ignore it. But nope, fans had to watch Toonami buy into that manufactured hype and trash their ratings.

MHA does not at all seem like the kind of show that will get worse ratings than Ear-Blood: Thurh Amine Sthonan.  First off, MHA will air BEFORE it, earlier in the day, automatically upping its chances of better ratings.

MHA also has the benefit of having a built-in audience like Attack on Titan. The people that like the show will flock to it because they want to rewatch the show dubbed without a subscription, and the people that haven't seen it yet would have an easier time being pulled into it because its popularity is owed to being a competent shonen that can hold up by its own merits instead of being unwillingly forced on everyone like Black Clover.

I have to admit, you are absolutely right. Mochi's threads are usually very predictable even when they are clickbait.

Generally speaking, I think part of the main reason why I still lurk and occasionally post on this board is because I still hold onto that small glimmer of hope, that someone can post a thread or comment about something that's positive. This is not limited to shows. 

It may seem that way to Toonami posters, but like I said before, it's hard to post much of anything on this site without someone always being a mood killer or a troll. I'm not saying there are any trolls in here right now, but you see how some other posters are around this board.

Some friends from ASMB ask me on Facebook why I still waste time posting here because barely anyone posts on this site. From time to time, there are still some friends without social media accounts, who still post here.

Lately, they've been missing because they're busy with their own lives and because nothing or no one resonates with them. That last part I can especially agree with them on. Almost nothing or no one resonates with me here. The fact that so many forums and other sites keep shutting down because they can't compete with Facebook doesn't help. 

I thought I was weening myself from Facebook. Now, I must try weening myself from this board. LOL! It's pointless to keep posting on a site, when there is nothing or no one that resonates with you.

Look you're just kind of going to have to accept that when stuff airs on Toonami that isn't very good, the tide is going to turn against it pretty heavily and no one is going to be very nice to it. Except Owl and Poke probably.

It would kind of be like going to a Star Wars convention and giving a speech about why the Phantom Menace is the best Star Wars movie ever made. Sure it's an opinion, and you're allowed to have your own opinion. But it's a really bad opinion. People are going to think it's ridiculous to say that and the reaction isn't going to be very positive.

If you're looking for resonance.. I do know a guy who can resonate with anyone....
