whats the internship?

News editing. Not an american news station. So we cover world events/catastrophes and at first I thought it was exciting and interesting but at this point its just depressing and the negativity just feels relentless. People are so fucking awful.

Yeah, that seems way too brutal to deal with day in and day out.

I would say go with marine biology. It's a pretty wide field depending on what you want to get into. At least in PA there are a lot of state jobs for it since they need people to monitor the lakes and river quality.

How do you go from news editing to geology? Lets just sell sexy movies together and call it a day

Im essentially going from doing what I through a series of events felt obligated to do to what i actually want to do and really interests me. The student debt is going to be just fucking amazing.

I am looking into schools because i would prefer it over geology, but its a very very specific degree and i prefer studying cetacean that makes it even harder >.<

My alma mater has an excellent marine biology program, and I've always kind of wondered what it would be like to be in it.

I worked at a television station for about one year. It's one of the most pessimistic environments a person can work in. Fucking poison. Not the same as news editing, but pretty close from what I hear.

I don't blame you.

The more focused the field of study, the narrower the range of gainful employment becomes.

That said, you should follow your heart.

Im sure its quite similar. Like when we are doing nothing all day then boom something happens and its a mass panic and everyone is yelling

was it at least a paid internship? cuz that would have been some bullshit.

if you still want to stick to news editing you can look up the independent news outlets. though you probably wouldn't get paid as well.

I actually dont think i do xD And yeah there is a weekly stipend

I've never done one of those before. I've always heard they can open a few doors,

but I've never been rich enough to bet on it..

They do but its a lot of ass kissing. If i didnt hustle on the side, i could never have survived nyc on $200 a week

Yeah Orcas are like the dicks of the shale family. Emotionally unstable, aggressive for seemingly no reason sometimes. And dolphins, well...we all know about them xD
