It's pretty gay if you ask me. Were the security getting aggressive like club bouncers? If so, I know if that were me that I'd have to drop the both of them and then make my way to the manager to ask what that was all about!!! 🐂

Unless you live in Montana, your state is an "at-will" employment state. Which means they can fire you at any time for any reason as long as it's not discriminatory against a protected class (So they can fire you because they don't like the color of your shirt but can't fire you because you're gay).

Yes, some positions have the employee contractually bound to either not have secondary employment or not have employment with a competitor and termination as the stated consequence.

this. my position is exactly like this. i'm not legally allowed to have a second job

The manager wasnt even officially told my sup got another job. She over heard some of us talking about it then had her escorted out.
