What would you do if you had superpowers?

call it a social experiment. 

my theory is that you don't really know what people are like (including yourself) until you remove all external behavioral constraints.

Depends on the superpowers.
If it were shapeshifting, I'd probably just shapeshift into a wolf in front of close friends on a full moon
to make them think I was a werewolf, and make them swear to secrecy, and if they couldn't I'd just pretend on the next full moon
they were making shit up.
Or I'd turn into a whale to swim across the ocean without harm,
that is assuming my mind stays sentient/human post-shift.
What are the parameters here?
Can I mend two powers together?
I won't accept invisibility without invulnerability.
In which case I'd unzip Secret Service people's pants ALL THE TIME.
Andy Kaufman would be like "MAN! If I weren't dead I'd envy this gay bastard!"

To begin with, We can't delineate between the first three options. The intended end is always a unified global order that is functional, righteous, and free. It is only the means that change; whether they be surreptitious nudges or forceful impositions is simply a question of availability.

As such, it vastly depends on the nature of said powers. We will do whatever consequence allows. If subtlety remains the optimal strategy, then that is the course We stay. If otherwise... well... All shall love Us and despair.

i was thinking of superman level powers. not necessarily his specific powers, but powerful enough to be free of all attempts by mankind to constrain you. 

personally, i would go for something along the lines of magneto.

the point of the experiment is that you are powerful enough so that there are no external consequences for your actions. 

the only constraint is your own conscience.

I would explore the entire globe, with my teleportation abilities.  Oh, and if anybody tries to rob me, I'd open a portal and have him sucked into a black hole.

fine, but you have to be sufficiently powerful for the premise, so one of the animals has to be godzilla.

I'd probably just pull a Dr. Manhattan and leave...

to be clear, I wouldn't do the joining the army part of what he did, I'd just skip right on to leaving the earth...

Murder almost all current hip hop artists and let the remaining try to get it back on the right track.

Rinse and repeat until they get it right again.
