WWE Saturday Night Main Event on Peacock. It’s a passable way to spend 2 hours but the matches have seemed exceptionally shorter than usual. And the commercial breaks every 5-10 minutes are quite irritating.

I really wanted Sam to be voted out in that first vote.

Second vote too but I understand voting for Genevieve was the smart move.

To be honest, I thought the only potential worthy winners were Genevieve and Rachel.

I don't like Genevieve but she's played a good game.  Now that she's gone if

Rachel doesn't win, I'll be very disappointed.  Especially if Sam wins.  Hate that guy.

 

I still like Teeny but her edit says she doesn't stand a chance.  She seems to be very confused

with what's going on.  I'm disappointed with her since she joined up with the enemy but I have

to say it worked out for her in the latter half of the episode.  Sue's cool but I think her idol is

the only good gameplay she's made this game.

Teeny, literally gone with the wind. I mean she had that fire making challenge in the bag, and then whoooosh! In the end, probably made no difference, since Rachel pretty much had it on lock after winning immunity. Would have been interesting to see how it would have gone if she weren't in the final three, but we'll never know I guess.

Personally, I didn't really find Sam's case all that compelling. I mean, he said he was never on the wrong side of the votes? Hello! How about when Sierra his closest ally got voted out?! It could have just as easily been him getting voted out there. There were simply bigger threats than him, that's the only reason he didn't get taken out on a number of occasions and was instead basically the backup vote. He never really made any big strategic plays that I can recall either, other than being a part of Operation Italy, which was really Andy's crazy plan. Anyway, a bit of a predictable finish, but still a pretty decent season overall I'd say.

So glad Mr. Pectacular stuck it to Wes. He may not have won the money, but he won the show and went out like a true supervillain. That was just delicious to watch. Making Wes get down on his knees to beg, and all for naught. Couldn't think of a better way to end the season.

I was really cheering for Teeny as much as I could during the fire making

challenge considering I've been sick with bronchitis since last Tuesday and currently have laryngitis as well.

Stupid wind just wasn't in her favor.  I know she wouldn't have won final three anyway but I really wanted an all woman final three.  

 

Plus I just hate Sam.  I think he was a jerk since the beginning and instead of a underdog,

I see him as a mean oonniving trickster who really wasn't very good at immunity challenges.  

Wish he had been voted out instead of Caroline that one episode.

 

I still think Operation Italy shouldn't have worked.  I would have liked the season better if it didn't.

I'm glad Rachel won though.  She really deserved the win.  Felt bad for Sue not getting any votes

at the end but I think she was a good representative of Gen X.  Wish there was more of us on the show

instead of so many 20 something year old kids.

Watching Squid Games 2 saw the first 2 episodes. It’s ok. Gi hun is a completely different person than he was in season one. He also got a body that won’t quit. Idk how I feel about that. It makes sense in the context of the story and however much time has passed but still he’s too smart almost imo so far anyway but it’s only 2 episodes I watched

squid games 2, and i'm liking it so far. the 1st ep. was something. the end game between gi hun and the solicitor.

Finished Squid Game season 2A they managed to keep it interesting. They announced the final season in 2025 not sure if they’re considering season 3 but if you go by where they left off it feels more like a season broken into two parts

They actually are considering the 2025 release to be season 3 the final season which kind of changes things. My opinion of season 2 would be kinder had it been a 2b thing and not a whole new season. Season 2 had no point now 🫤

thanos, is in an actual k-pop. star. or former? TOP he was a very interesting charactor

and i think they do that becuase a lot of these are based of webtoons, and the releasing and iono...some crazy nonsense netflix sells, while raising prices.

Feeling a bit like we're all doomed lately, so figured what better time to start watching Doom Patrol. Surprised to see some pretty big names in this one, well, or at least ones that I recognize. Soon as I saw Alan Tudyk was playing the villain I knew it was gonna be nutso. And yeah... it is that in spades so far.

Finished season 1 of Doom Patrol. I've seen some pretty crazy shows, but I think this one takes the cake for being the all time nuttiest one I've ever watched. Pretty damn entertaining though. Don't think I'll ever forget the line, "the butts are loose".

Watched Peacemaker, the Suicide Squad spin-off series. The characters act just so juvenile most of the time, it's ridiculous. It was pretty funny though. The opening dance sequence and song though... That's gonna be stuck in my head for at least a week.

Back to Doom Patrol, I'm just about done with season 2, and wow.  I didn't think it was possible for the show to get any more insane, but I clearly had no damn clue.

I kind of felt like with the last part of season 2 of Doom Patrol it was getting a bit more serious and not so wackadoodle actually... and then I got to season 3. Yeah, and so much for that thought. Just full-blown, non-stop crazy town now, and there's still one last season. It couldn't possibly get any more out there though. Could it?

Finished Doom Patrol. Gonna be honest, it took me a little while to gather my thoughts about this one because... this show... yeah. Wow. If there's anything I can definitively say about it, it's that, contrary to what I was thinking going in, it is not a super hero show. First of all, none of the characters really have any reliable super powers or abilities, nor are any of them really heroic at all. Mostly they're just self-absorbed, apathetic basket cases really. Also, it didn't have all that much action either, but still... with all that said, I don't think I for one minute found myself ever being bored by any of it because of just the relentless, unpredictable wackiness of it all. Right up unto the end I don't I ever had a clue what was going to happen next. Pretty much the first time I think I can say that about anything I've ever watched. So, yeah... very different, but still extremely entertaining.

That Vula tribe is just a mess. They kept bringing up trust, but none of them really seem all that trustworthy to me. They better hope they switch the tribes up sooner rather than later cuz it's hard not to see them continuing to lose otherwise.

You make a good point Dark_Cloud.  I wouldn't be surprised if Vula becomes the next Ulong with only 

one person left if Jeff lets It happen.  The sooner Sai goes the better.  I'm not good with names but I've

wanted her gone since the first episode.  She's too competitive and mean-spirited.  I feel bad for the other

black woman though.  She's just on the wrong team.  But it could be worse.  She could have been on Vula.

Did I say Vula was a mess? I meant absolute effing trainwreck. I mean they made poor Jeff have to dig super deep in the ol' Survivor rulebook to explain what the heck was happening there. First I figured it was going to be Justin going home after Mary hit the shot in the dark, then I thought they were going to rocks because I didn't know there was another step after the second revote, then it seemed 100% certain Sai was done when it was revealed Cedric alone got to ultimately decide (something that I don't think we've ever seen before in all 48 seasons of the show), and then he did the unthinkable and did a total flip and actually saved her ass, betraying his alliance with Justin all because he decided to keep that he lost his vote to himself. Mama mia! Thank god for the tribe swap coming next week because I just can't take anymore of Vula at this point.

The tribes swap was fun.  I always like it when that happens.

It's funny even with different people on the tribe, Vula still lost.

Vula really is cursed.  I'm glad that one guy was voted out.  I think he was

interesting, but he was playing the game too hard.

I don't really like the whole lying and deception part of the game. I really don't, but it's a part of the way most people play understandably nowadays, as going far while being an honest person has been shown to be extremely difficult. So though I don't at all enjoy giving anyone credit for something like this, Kamilla and Kyle deserve like an Emmy I have to say for the performance they put on in fooling the California Girls alliance in this one. I don't think they knew that Thomas had a steal-a-vote, but knocking that out along with him is just a potential huge game changing outcome they made there.

Only Murders in the Building Hulu it’s ok. Has one hell of a cast with Nathan Lane Martin Short Steve Martin and Selena Gomez. Second season was much better than the first one. Just started season three. Idk how many seasons this can go on for?  How many times can murders happen around the same 3 people and not only that, but also get framed for them. At some point that gets old. 
 

Common Side Effects Max and [as]4 episodes in and I am enjoying it. Reminds me of A Scanner Darkly in so far that the government knows more than they’re willing to admit out loud. 
 

The Freak Brothers Tubi

I can’t even begin to state how disappointed I am with this show. How a show with Pete Davidson, Woody Harrelson, John Goodman and Tiffany Haddish can be this unfunny is just killing me. The premise is 3 hippies and their cat smoke some amazing weed laced with a magical potion from a Swami. They smoke it in 1969 and awaken to discover it’s now 2020.  Such a funny premise done in a not so funny way

It was a very good episode for Eva.  I'm happy for her.

Felt bad for Bianca though.  I really wanted Sai to be voted out instead.

The merge next episode should be interesting.  I'm hoping Eva, Joe, and the guy that

Eva was working with in her new tribe all work together next episode.  

 

Since Cedrick said he doesn't want to work with Sai in the end, I don't understand his game plan

and I want him out now but not as much as I want Sai out.

Yeah really happy Eva was able to tell her story and got such a positive show of support from everyone. Also loved seeing Jeff cry. That was great.

As far as the vote, pretty clear trusting anyone from old Vula is just a really bad idea. They're cutthroat. Mary might be the only one that people might be able to reliably work with. Since she was on the bottom before and had to use her shot in the dark to save herself, haven't really seen her trustworthiness tested all that much yet. I'm really interested to see with the merge whether she tries to work with new people and tells all about the old Vula or tries to go back to working with them.
