i'm gonna go ahead and say that taste is subjective and there's no wrong way to enjoy your steak. that being said, i don't understand why anyone would order an expensive, premium cut and get it well done. i mean, if you're just going to turn it into shoe leather, the initial quality of the meat is kind of irrelevant.

this is the difference between me and the rest of you. i don't need to be told this.

this. it's time consuming but really easy and you can control the sodium. basically, buy a cheap cut of low fat meat like london broil. slice it super thin. marinate (low sodium soy sauce and whatever seasonings you like) put the strips on a rack and stick them in the oven at low temp for a long time. think 150-200 degrees for like 4 hours. (make sure you put something under the rack to catch the drippings.)

i didn't really have any friends when i was younger. i didn't talk much. i imagine though that if i did have friends that i'd grown up with, it would suck to lose them. here. :beer:
