The anime left out the fact that ice boy is actually ridiculously pretty and that's a real shame.

Fun story, in the manga his speech bubbles go from looking rough and jaggy to being normal and smooth after his flashback, so his voice was always meant to do the change there.

My guess if that they're really trying to stretch the budget as much as possible for the big series. Demon Slayer's definitely a big ticket purchase, and I wouldn't be surprised if the pricetag went way up considering the movie made approximately all the weeb money in the world. I assume they'll want to make a solid offer whenever the new Bleach season comes out too, and that's probably worth saving up for now ahead of time. Plus we've still got Uzumaki and at least one other show announced for next year, so someone at the network clearly has every intention of keeping Toonami running through 2022.

Calm your tits. I hate to drag out the ol' Dragonball Evolution dead horse, but if that couldn't "taint its series' legacy" then nothing Netflix Bebop can do could ruin original Bebop's. So the person in your example is someone who's heard that Cowboy Bebop is a great anime, goes to look for it, finds a live action series circa 2021 that's openly going to say "INSPIRED BY COWBOY BEBOP CARTOON" in the credits, assume this live action one is what they've been recommended, watch enough of the series to be soured on the entire franchise, totally skip over the original series that's inevitably going to be recommended right next to the damn thing, and never bother checking out the anime? I feel like the venn diagram of shows Toonami wants vs shows that Disney wants probably doesn't have a huge overlap. Knowing Disney, I imagine that they'll prefer to go the SW Visions and Twisted Wonderland route for the majority of their anime and just have something created that they own outright, so most of their potential shows would probably never be an option for any other platform.

The fact that WB's handing Toonami extra Batman movies that are brand new and well-received is a good thing. It means somebody over there actually sees the block as a solid tool worth supporting. We want them to keep thinking we're a good investment and giving us special movie nights that bring in extra high ratings. Stop whining that the sky is falling again.

Didn't Demon Slayer's new season start like, a week ago? I doubt the dub will have enough episodes ready to air before Thanksgiving at the earliest. Ass Class is the most obvious answer for one of those slots and I'd be surprised if it didn't pop back up to replace something.
