  1. I think they have pills for that.
  2. How do you feel about Hydrox?
  3. Probably try to do the "unseen observer" bit, like the old TV show "You Are There" and find out things that people have wondered about or disputed as being true - just for my own edification.
  4. They did, a few years later - "I Am Woman" (Helen Reddy). Now, it's pretty tame.
  5. Back then, it was what was passed for an "empowering" song. A lot of songs for women back then were leaning toward subservient to men.
  6. In the same galaxy, some time ago...
  7. First, it annexes your stomach, then invades your colon.
  8. The kind that like Gladiator movies.
  9. Before, who wants to eat after getting all hot & sweaty?
  10. If some old guy said that to you, you're giving off the wrong vibe.
  11. Got ordained.
  12. For me, it would have been Ike.
  13. Favorite of Dylan, and appeared on the early years of SNL. Looked a bit like he was the image on the Rocky Rococo pizza signs. 70 yrs old.
  14. Leon Durham had a ball get by him much the same way in game 5 of the 1984 NLCS, but nobody remembers it because of Ex-Cub Buckner's flub.

Not much of a fan of Waters.
  16. Italian Kung Fu. One of my former bosses married an Italian & picked up the gestures. She nearly clocked me a couple of times in team meetings when I sat next to her.
  17. Former co-worker, who was 2nd Gen Italian-American told me that when she was born, a grandfather had recently passed on & then 2 successive uncles died. She grew up thinking it was normal for Italian Women to only wear black all the time.

Yeah, he twisted a lot of stuff. In "Honey Pie" they were supposed to be imploring him to "sail across the Atlantic, to be where you belong". Flippin' nutjob.

Actually, he used a lot of Beatles songs. "Helter Skelter" was his name for the racial civil war he was trying to provoke. "Revolution #9" was purportedly what he thought the war would sound like. "Honey Pie" was supposed to be the Beatles telling him they were for the war, but were too "lazy" to start it. Etc.

Naw, that's a great bit of artistry - 'cept for the whole Manson Family thing.

No, the worst Beatles song is "Run For Your Life". Even John said so.
  23. Broke down & mowed it. It was surprisingly dryer than I expected & no mushrooms like I usually get. Then I planted a butterfly bush in an area where I haven't been able to get grass to grow. Hope it survives.
