There are usually places at "Taste of Chicago" serving some sort of wild game meat. Possibly even at a couple of the neighborhood fests.

You might have liked a long defunct (2007) place I used to go to in Chicago - Grizzly's Lodge. Every booth had its own tv, great place for watching whatever Sunday football game you wanted. "Appetizers include blackened alligator and shrimp poppers. Entrees include salads, sandwiches (tater tots on the side), steaks, and wild game. Game entrees include quail primavera, elk steak, venison goulash, wild boar chops, and buffalo burgers that would make Fred Flintstone salivate. Word has it that they will be adding zebra to the menu soon. The menu explains what each variety of game tastes like. The menu points out that most of the game to be had at Grizzly's is much leaner than pork, beef, and even chicken. It makes one begin to wonder... There is also an all-you-can-eat fish fry on Fridays, and brunch on Sundays"

Calvin & Hobbes (or at least Calvin) appears on Bloom County for April Fools Day. Kind of a semi-annual thing. They did it last year a couple of times including April 1st. Watterson has also guest drawn "Pearls Before Swine" in the past.

Only got to go to one once - fantastic food! The nearest one closed for some reason, the next nearest is too far away.

One of the stores I managed, I heard a call for the stock person to come to the public restrooms near layaway. When I got there, they just told me that a customer complained about the mess in the Women's Restroom. After confirming nobody was in there I took a look & somebody had freakin' exploded all over the stall - the walls, the toilet, the floor. I knew the stock person was doing a carryout & I wasn't one of those "it's beneath me" types, so I went to the stock room & got a roller bucket, filled it with hot water & cleaner, grabbed a mop & headed back. I got there & opened the door - the freakin' place was completely clean! The layaway people swore they buzzed nobody in and the stock person said he didn't do it. To this day, I can't figure out who went in there & cleaned it up.

Yellow 7 was much later. During the Inuyasha thing, I was lurking - trying to figure out wth they were talking about (I didn't watch the anime stuff) and wondering if I should even bother actually joining [asmb].

Many family trees get complex. Families with many kids back in the 19th Century or earlier would have a kid die, so the next kid they had would be named the same as the kid that died (provided they were of the same sex). Nothing like doing research & someone that is supposed to have died is getting married a couple decades later.
