I can see you know nothing of small towns. The main thought of kids in small towns is not about inheriting homes, it's getting out of the small town. If you're the type that must have something to do, by all means go for the big city...but remember, small towns are where most food comes from and they tend to take care of their own. In a situation where food becomes scarce, the small town will have it, the big city - well, learn to run faster than the next guy or become Ms Soylent Green.

No. You used the word "civilized", when you should have used the word "urbanized". Look at any large metropolitan city, yes they have museums, but they also have more violent crime...unless you consider the latter as "civilized behavior".
