First Kmart I was assigned to as Mgr: I"m walking down the main back aisle and see a woman admiring one of the potted house plants. She holds it at arm's length & turns it one way, then the other... Then she takes a step back...and holds it at arm's length again to look at it. (No there was no "hood" over the plants, the lighting was the same)

Knife switch or blade switch would have been very, very interesting...

You don't need to kill yourself. Just appropriate a bottle of windex that has been emptied & filled with blue powerade. Pull it out of the cart/basket you had it in and in their presence, absentmindedly chug it...then start convulsing on the floor. (totally stole this from The Amazing Johnathan)

I see a chiropractor once a month. Keeps me upright & mostly pain-free. This rib thing though... I did find out (surprisingly) that aspercream with lidocaine has actually done a pretty good job dulling the pain enough to get some sleep. Magnesium Salicylate (Doan's Pills, Backaid) made my head feel like it would explode & my ears were ringing like I'd sat in front of the amps for "The Who - Live at Leeds".
