The LG is only 1080p. I didn't need anything fancy since 1) I don't sit close to it and 2) it's only ever really used for when guests are over or to play Mario Kart 64.

Samsung panels are glorious. I have an LG in my living room but I'm using a Samsung monitor for my computer. I had a Vizio but it crapped out.

As somebody who owns two sets of nunchaku and a pair of Heelys, I think I make it in the top 3.

I once slipped down some stairs with a taco but the taco got the worst of that one.

I use to have an eyebrow stud and it did get snagged on stuff. It got to the point where there was barely any skin holding it in so I just took it out. I still have the scar.

Yeah perch was super easy. There was a little rocky hole in the lake we use to go to that had tons of perch and crayfish. Didn't even need a pole. A length of fishing line, a hook and a small bit of worm worked just fine.

Pens just find their way into my home. I don't think I have actually ever paid money for one.

It kinda made sense back in the day. Cameras weren't common and getting your picture taken was kind of a big event. Post-mortem photographs were the last chance many families had to take a picture together. Now it's just weird.

I feel like I have to stress that I'm not being sarcastic when I saw that. What I hate is "Bless your heart". I just think "Well fuck you too".

I don't say it all the time but I have started saying it and I've noticed that a few other people say it around here.

Fire and Fury is nonfiction.

I generally don't read books and I'm very selective when I do. The only books I own is The Count of Monte Cristo, Animal Farm, 1984, Fire and Fury and Pride Prejudice and Zombies. I've read the Catcher in the Rye but I don't own a copy of it....yet.I don't know why but I don't really have that ability to get lost in a book. Maybe it's because I always have one foot in the real world. It's probably also the reason it's hard for me to get super invested in movies. I'm constantly trying to dissect the movie. Trying to predict the plot/events, thinking about how effects were pulled off, noticing tropes, observing the camera work and dialog choices. I consider few movies a work of art. I believe the last one that really impressed me was Into the Spiderverse. Great writing, pacing and cinematography.
