I was wondering how the ranks were back. Thought maybe I just didn't notice before. This makes me happy. Although, it's going to take me an incredibly long time to go through the ranks at the rate I post.

The issue with Tik Tok is the unapologetic gathering of user data. Yes other apps and services collect data but apparently Tik Tok is taking it to a new level. So much so that the app has become a concern for national security and governments world wide have been banning it on official devices. What amplifies this concern is our distrust of China and the apps connection to the country as it's been alleged that the CCP has backdoor access. So China may be using our data for nefarious means. What do we do? Some say you could just ban Tik Tok. What's stopping the app from popping back up under a different name? The proposed solution is giving the government the ability to ban apps from US adversaries and preventing workarounds like VPNs for the apps. I don't believe this means that any foreign app will automatically be banned. I understand that it's believed this would cause an overreach and a complete policing of our internet but I have my doubts that ramifications would be that large...but I could be wrong. My personal hatred of Tik Tok is it's ability to turn people into complete morons. Tons upon tons of mind numbing garbage and dumb-asses doing dumb shit for Tik Tok clout.

I'm starting to wonder if certain Republicans want mass shootings to take place. Think about what happens when one occurs. The story makes it's rounds in the media, the topic of gun control comes up and in a panic conservatives go out to stock up on guns. Think about how much these Republicans want to loosen gun regulations or at least, adamantly appose common sense laws. Lastly, let's think about who's hands are in their pockets. It's no secret that the NRA uses propaganda to create paranoia. Then we have the NRA's link with Russia. We know that Russia wants to destabilize our politics and pushing the wedge that is the topic of gun control is one way to work towards that goal.

A voice activated recorder was left in a room to catch officials conducting county business outside of meetings which is a violation of the state's open meeting act. What the voice recorder picked up was country officials making racist comments including lynching and hanging as well as speaking about hiring a hit-man to kill journalist.

And Fox news was begging for people to give money to Trump for his legal fees. We now know what the staff of FOX actually thinks of Trump so you'd think they'd want to wash their hands of him. I guess his fan base is still a huge part of their demographic.
