There's now a draft in Russia for anybody between the ages of 18 and 60. Russia claims this was only for people with prior military service but reports say this isn't true. Random citizens are being nabbed off the streets and enlisted. Russians started fleeing the country to avoid the draft and airlines have been ordered to block citizens from the ages mentioned earlier from leaving. The penalty for refusing to serve and desertion has been stiffened to 10 years in prison. Putin went into hiding after large protests formed. It's doubtful this draft is going to be helpful as the newly drafted citizens will need training and it's not likely that they'll have the motivation to fight. Zelensky is offering protections for Russian soldiers who surrender.

Forget to mention China's lending habits. China likes to lend money to whatever country asks for it. They do this so they can nab valuable resources and assets when countries can't pay the debt. Basically loan sharks. China has now lent so much money to so many different countries that it's not returning investments quickly enough which is also hurting their economy. There are a couple of more shady details but I believe that's the gist of it.

Stuff has been going on for a bit. From what I remember(And I'm going to try to simplify this), the real estate bubble burst from mismanagement and corruption. A large percentage of the population invested in real estate and many projects were never finished. Invested money for unfinished projects were being used in other projects. That population started to wise up and started to take money out of their banks to block payments. This is bad for China's economy and their government had no backup plan for such an event. Banks started to deny withdraws so citizens can't access their money. Of course all of the censorship and human rights violations definitely doesn't help but I think this may have been the tipping point. If I got any details wrong or you would like to add some, feel free to speak up. Edit: Added an important word.

Oh damn. Didn't even think about that.

Nobody would ever think of looking there. Genius.

So you want Russia to succeed? Is that what you're saying? Speaking of cringe, "Brandon"? Who do you think you're triggering? Nobody gives a fuck. It's just fucking lame. I get that the US has done some shady shit but this is this and that is that. Ukraine was getting attacked by a piece of shit dictator, asked for help and we delivered. It's not like we started or instigated the war. We didn't invade Russia. We're lending support to Ukraine so they can protect themselves from Russia. What's your problem? What do you not get about this? How many more times are we going to argue in circles?

What's better is that the Special Master is a no-nonsense judge. This won't bode well for Trump.

My "friend" told me my life is "inexcusable".

You could tell them that you're ok with how your life is and not to worry about it. -
A bit of old news but I don't remember it seeing it mentioned. Trump owes over 1.6 million on his Truth Social platform. Turns out the guy who is known for not paying his bills hasn't been paying his bills. https://www.yahoo.com/video/trump-truth-social-accused-stiffing-003058432.html Investors have been losing money but their cult mentality is stopping quite a few of them from cutting their losses. They've lost their life savings and it's only getting worse for them.

I'm ok with ranting about retail but more than one thread is unnecessary. I mean, they were almost the exact same thread. They were also super generic gripes but that's whatever. I could really go into detail with my experiences but I don't think people care enough for me to put in that kind of effort.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2022/09/16/marthas-vineyard-migrants-cape-cod/10398087002/ Oh yeah, DeSantis really showed the Dems. Now everybody knows how compassionate they were. As a side note, Desantis may have gotten the idea from Tucker Carlson.

13 years was spent at one company. Towards the end of that venture, my manager had moved to a different city. My two ASMs decided to quit and I decided to quit with them. This left nobody to run the store and it closed for literal months. That's what they get for treating us poorly and giving us ass pay. I've been told by our customers that the store has opened back up but looks like shit now. I went to Walmart as a stop gap. I knew I could get in easily and my experience made me a natural. This paid five dollars more and I had fewer responsibilities. Cool beans. Was going to stay there at least a year but this new job opening was on a timer and I needed to act. This one is going to pay 2 dollars more. That's a 7 dollar increase in less than a year. I'll also get the afternoons off so I won't have to wait for the weekend to do anything.

The only thing I've seen the Left angry about is the use of people for a political stunt. Those migrants didn't agree to this. They were expecting to go to Boston. How fucked does one have to be to think that's ok? These are humans.

Seems that I will be repairing and cleaning wind turbines. Before anybody asks, no, I won't be going out and climbing huge wind turbines. Everything is done in one building.

I start my new job on Monday. No more shitty customers. No more holiday garbage. No more having to go behind incompetent workers. After 14 years, it's over. I did like my immediate coworkers and will be saddened that I won't get to shoot the shit with them all the time. I will keep in contact, though and we'll make plans to all hang out.

I'm sure this is just ignorance on my part but I don't know how she was even able to stick her nose in this.

It turns out lying to people about where you're sending them and transporting undocumented migrants across boarders is likely very illegal. https://www.boston.com/news/politics/2022/09/15/gavin-newsom-doj-explore-kidnapping-charges-migrant-flight-marthas-vineyard/

I feel like there would be more buzz about this if it were true. I checked into that source and their reporting is factually mixed.

If I had to pick one, I would pick the handbook for the recently deceased. Second choice would be the Gravity Falls book.
