You go a certain period of time without eating so your body goes into ketosis and starts to feed from your fat. You have a period of time you do eat, probably with some restrictions. Breaking a fast like you did is an easy way to get sick, kinda. You gotta work into eating heavier and a higher volume of foods with things like soup and fruit and shit.
