  1. Trump's campaign manager says swiftboat was never disproven, 2004 GWB campaign guy calls him out. But the real question is "why is Trump's campaign manager posting on twitter? Shouldn't he be busy running a presidential campaign?"
  2. Dem enthusiasm may very well drop down to earthly levels after the convention and Trump's campaign may find a way to unflip the canoe, but don't count out nothing changing and the bottom completely falling out from under the Trump campaign. The dream there would be "ex-Senator" Ted Cruz.
  3. If I fully comprehend, assuming the Grad PLUS loans aren't eligible and I only count the backlog interest on my direct unsubsidized loans, it would still be about $10.5K in forgiveness based on my current balance. A few K more if the capitalized interest that converted into principal counts too.

  8. I fell asleep listening to his press conference, and my brain woke me up because it heard the reporters asking him a question and thought there were people in the office

  12. under-discussed race from yesterday's primaries: The incumbent flipped this conservative seat in 2022 through a combination of a moderate campaign, an arch-conservative opponent (who took the incumbent R's slot in the open-party primary), and 2022 being a Dem-leaning election cycle. And Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is going to face that same arch-conservative again. Assuming these numbers hold, she'll have won the open primary with just under half the votes which puts her in a great spot to hold the seat in November.
  13. I'm not actually sure why, tbh. I don't think he didn't express interest, he was one of the three finalists who did an in-person interview. If he wasn't interested he'd have pulled a Cooper and dropped out of the running early.
  14. From everything I read, the real choice was between Shapiro and Walz, and Kelly was a distant third but ahead of all the other contenders.
  15. fetterman apparently said as much to the campaign team beforehand, does that make him antisemitic
  16. happy birthday @SnapItCrackItPopIt!
