  1. hi friend of katt
  2. For one, I specifically told you nabs doesn't need your charity: And two, you made statements on your original rainteacher accounts that put the site at legal risk and that is simply unacceptable. This is all I am saying on the matter.
  3. I was #100 so I guess that means you gotta send me 100
  4. I think @ryan_expert joined but never actually posted

  8. if I ever work on a film, I want to be the one throwing armfuls of snow at your crotch to simulate cars speeding by
  9. I think that recommendation would have the opposite effect.
  10. happy bouvreday
  11. bbq chicken pizza with no tomato sauce and barely any bbq sauce is quite possibly the blandest pizza I have ever eaten
  12. man it will be real nice to feel this same feeling if i live long enough to pay off law school
  13. as a casual fighting game, it's def really simple to figure out the basics. just gotta play as someone simple like mario until it clicks. there's a lot of depth to it, but it's all built on deceptively simple mechanics.
  14. think of the game this way: what makes it so simple at its core is that there are only two 'attack' buttons, A and B. the A button does normal attacks (punching, kicking, sword slashes etc.) and the B button does that character's special attacks. rather than learn complicated combos or whatever, the attacks are based on what direction you are pushing the joystick (up, down, side, neutral). go into the training mode with mario for a couple minutes before your son whoops you again and just feel that out without the time pressure of a real round. you'll see he's got four distinct special B attacks based on which direction you're pushing the stick, and he does different punches/kicks with the A button based on the stick's direction. once that scheme clicks in your head, realize that every character has the same control scheme but tailored to them.
  15. i got roped into D&D once even though i never played and had no interest and i intentionally tried to break the game so they didn't invite me back. it was a few years later when i better understood it and thought, y'know, maybe i could have enjoyed it if i had given it a shot.
  16. In the aaaaaaaaarms of the angeeeeeeel
  17. As a safety measure you should always inspect the fireplace/chimney before you use it for the reasons Ginguy stated. I had an inspector come look at mine in January and got a big "do not use this under any circumstances"
  18. i mean, yeah, the literal actions you are doing are different because it's a larger and 3D environment with more things fit into it, but i did not realize how much the skeleton structure of the game copied over from LttP to OoT. it's like plagiarizing an essay you wrote in as a freshman for your senior thesis.
  19. i dunno, i finally played ALttP for the first time a couple years ago when club nintendo shut down and we got all the download codes, and I played through it and was like 'yup, this is zelda' because literally every single main game in the series subsequent until maybe skyward sword followed that exact formula.

  20. something like that would have made more sense, seems like a logical 3DS remake really (or they already had a lot of visual assets from ALBW they could have reused) the art style i think is what made it stand out to me though instead of just an 'ok whatever'
  21. Past couple weeks the cats start getting riled up around 5:30 because they want breakfast. Goddamn freeloaders.
