We camped out overnight in a vineyard within the zone of totality so that we'd be there in the morning when it happened. The whole thing to me seemed overblown to me and I wasn't too excited for any of it (oh god camping), but once the event actually began - holy shit. And once totality hit - hoooolllllyyyy shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I fully admit I was wrong to doubt it. And bonus points for the camping out because it was the first time in my life I could see the milky way and all those extra stars that we miss out on due to light pollution.

There are certain boards (see: Rants) that would certainly benefit from a hard reset. But I don't think I'd be happy about deleting everything, including all of JMC's own posts, and sponges would be not amused that he tediously copied all of his fanfics only to lose them anyways. My original DS turned on the last time I tried, even though I hadn't charged it or used it in years. Meanwhile, my 3DS XL has a charge of less than 40 minutes with the 3D turned off.
