I would've lost my shit if I wanted to own it. Paying around $100 for Madoka was the last straw for me, but I'd like to be able to own Kill la Kill one day without having to sell a kidney. Then the industry gets pissy about why the consumer is losing their shit and resorting to finding the shows online instead of buying discs anymore. Gee, between Amazon's double paywall and owning an Aniplex show for $300, I wonder... By the way, I can buy all of Breaking Bad for $75, seven of The Fast & the Furious movies for $37, and twenty two James Bond DVDs for $60 on Amazon.

It had a very shitty release too where they split it into three parts, and then the 1st part (the only good one) ended up going out of print before Part 3 even came out. Then when you actually wanted to get the whole series, they make it available only through some stupid ass lunchbox, which I assume is to make fun of the fact that it's Baccano for 12 year olds.

I've seen clips of the short on Instagram and it looks well-done enough that I wasn't sure if it was a Pixar short or something they played at the movies.

I'm still pissed. I would've loved to have owned the 2nd and 5th movies of Kara no Kyoukai, but they had to make a bundle that costs more than a PS4. I don't need all the bells and whistles, just the movies or at least a couple of them. Or at least put them on Netflix like the Fate shows that aren't behind your damn paywall. It doesn't help the sequel movie costs $70. The Kill la Kill and Madoka releases were just the shit icing on the shit cake.

Chihaya I knew because it was around the same time she did Anna from Shimoneta, and how much sadder such a funny performance was when she died sometime after. Kaneshiro was someone I learned about from TV Tropes where they said that while Chihaya's VA passed before the game, it was a few months after the game's release when Kaneshiro's VA passed.

8/10 Had to look her up to see who she was, but unfamiliarity docked it a couple points.

They just lazily animated this wallpaper so I assume that they reused the art and music for the anime announcement, and that they'll have a different sequence/opening theme by the 2018 debut. They might've rerecorded it because they could reuse the song throughout the show though, like how P4 had regularly played Reach Out to the Truth during summoning/fighting scenes. That also reminds me that they'll have to find someone different to play Chihaya and Kaneshiro
