With Sandoval nearing the end of the maximum 20-day assignment, the team was forced to make a decision. "It really came down to us feeling that we were not a better club if he was on our club at the major league level," president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski said. If you're talking about those SwimCons (which, by the looks of the replies, you are) the first one was great. Angus Oblong and Douglas Goldstein were a blast to talk to. The second one was pretty pathetic. The board's traffic in general had all but died by then.
