The Real World, TRL, and the 2000s reality shows get too much credit for killing MTV, but to me, MTV was killed by the weeks-long Ridiculousness marathons it started doing in the mid-2010s. At least the reality shows were consistent with MTV's capacity to be an entertainment hub for teens and young adults. Whether you kept up with VJs or California socialites, there was always an emphasis on MTV being a hip brand, music or not. Then MTV and Cartoon Network moved in tandem to follow Viacom's nonsense of airing marathons of filler shows to pad out time and alienate itself from pop culture as a whole. MTV became a lurching "How do you do, fellow kids?" zombie coasting off of its old glory from the mid-80s to mid-2010s, and now we're having the MTV VMAs on CBS of all channels. It was way better as a music-focused network, but I won't lie; I'd take the bratty rich kid reality shows any day of the week over whatever MTV is airing on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

I got a PC for streaming a couple years ago that I've been happy with. I never got into as much PC gaming aside from whatever indie games could be played on a laptop, so I was stoked to finally be able to take advantage of Steam/GOG/Humble/etc sales and play games with better graphics.

I made a fancypants sandwich one time with brie and raspberry jam that was really good.

Robert Pattinson's interviews about the Twilight series made those films hilarious.

Sometimes it can come in the form of a craving, but many times, it's an emotional state like being happy, sad, angry, etc. I can be horny as a guy without any intention of going for the climax as long as I'm channeling it in creative avenues like writing (it might also help with art or music). In fact, it would be a little sad to write smut if the sensation stopped halfway through.
