I've given some thought to buying a cheap engagement/wedding ring combo to wear in public so I can keep randos, particularly men, at bay. So far, I haven't been hit on yet. I'll take it off whenever I go to a gay/lesbian bar, in case some woman backs the mack on me. Or at least if I go to a doctor's office, so I don't get mistaken for actually being married.

Seems every day, I keep getting friend requests from randos on Facebook. Most of these requests are from men, but all are from people I've never met. I don't answer any of them in case they might be scammers, catfishers, or chasers. Not like any of the guys have any chances of hooking up with me anyway. I like girls.

Spanisch isch eine schöne Sprache.

No goose eggs on hand, golden or otherwise. But the halva was very good. I gained a taste for it when I received a Universal Yums box of Turkish snacks. One of the snack foods in that box was a log of halva, but it wasn't chocolate.

Here's some chocolate halva I made two months ago. I posted this pic on Facebook and one of my cousins thought it looked like I put gold leaf in it. What you see here is tahini that didn't get mixed in all the way. The light hit it just so.

I have some fresh beans but I don't use them. You have to soak them before cooking, and that takes too long for me. I'm not what you'd call a patient woman.
