mthor Posted Friday at 08:11 PM Posted Friday at 08:11 PM Firefox, since 2012. The son in law who is my tech advisor told me to use it, I forget why. 1 Quote

rpgamer Posted Friday at 09:32 PM Posted Friday at 09:32 PM Mostly Firefox, but evidently it's run or owned or whatever by an AI bro now, so.. now's as good a time as any to find a new one. Brave seems to show some promise. Heard nice things about I think Waterfox. Quote
katt_goddess Posted Saturday at 01:34 AM Posted Saturday at 01:34 AM Using Edge or whatever it's called. I had Chrome once upon a time but hated it. I don't really have any specific reason other than I didn't like the feel of it. Quote

Top Gun Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Pale Moon. Has some issues but it's Firefox from way before it sucked. If there's something incompatible I just open Edge. Quote
PhilosipherStoned Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Chrome is still the tech standard for average users. I've experimented with the Brave browser, but it does have a memory issue somewhere in it's dev that makes it a bit slower to use than just bare bones chrome. I did like that it's built in adblocker took care of all my ad blocking needs without an extension, and it has all the vpn options like most newer browser platforms. Even the money hungry YouTube ad demons din't bug me.. It's been kind of hard for me to escape YouTube ads on chrome ever since YouTube devs started that little pushback war on adblocking. I'm using the Ublock lite extension on chrome that works atm but I have to turn it off when I browse all the money making platforms I use, and then when I turn it on sometimes it goes through hell to start blocking ads on YT again. There's been several of the free ad blocker extensions that just stopped working completely on YT since the big ad battle started lol. Edited 9 hours ago by PhilosipherStoned Quote
