I was watching Star Trek TNG and it got me thinking about a couple of things. The name Dr. Crusher it just sounds like a badass name for a wrestler and why don't wrestlers these have cool sounding names or nicknames anymore. They just have generic sounding first and last names. Or if they do have nicknames it's lame like The Miz it's like what the fuck is a Miz?

I thought kerrygold butter was supposed to be like top shelf butter. I got a small tub of kerrygold thinking it would be easy to spread, it's solid as a rock. I really wanted good quality bread and butter, instead i got bread with chunks of butter on it cuz the shit wouldnt spread to save its life. And the label says 'naturally softer', bullshit

Sigh, I wanted to try egusi soup and fufu today . . . it smelled like a barnyard. I didn't even try the soup. Waste of 20 dollars. The people at the restaurant were pretty rude too. I was so excited to try it . . . I seriously might cry. 😑

Maybe I'll try again one day, at a better place.

nah bro, you gonna have to find an African friend who can cook it. 

I know I'm probably the only one that can get away with this, but them uppity ass African negros open a business and think they are the ones that matter, not the customers. First time I tried it, I went to this place and stood at the counter looking at dishes I didn't know what they were...No one acknowledged my existence....So i say excuse me...heavens forbid i should ask and interrupt the lady behind  the counter by asking wtf it is. 

before i turn this into half a page, the food was ok, but i would never go back. tried a spot in ATL, same experience but it was gross and overly spicy...and this was before my gastric woes.

Later, I met this chick at a job and I got her to make me some. it was excellent...well, much better. Would eat again but not making any special trips to do it...also had goat and some kinda beans...forgot what she called it

I'm not in any rush. My mother has a friend from Ghana and I tried her foods, growing up. She made this one type of jerk chicken and goat curry. It was really good. I don't think she knows how to make egusi soup. I'm pretty sure I knew what I was expecting . . . yeah, the customer service was horrible. I have been to many restaurants of different ethnicities. This was among the worst experiences I've had.
