WELL AKCHYUALLY it's not like you're guaranteed to contract HIV from one single sexual exposure to someone with the virus. In fact, it's very unlikely. HIV progresses slowly into AIDS, and Jenny most likely did have it when she conceived their child. I think Forrest and their child never get the virus, seeing how they are healthy while Jenny dies.

Duolingo's CEO has been a complete asshole, but the app has me hooked. I'm also at a one year streak and I do feel like I've learned a lot. I will stay the course, for now. I feel the CEO was stupidly blunt. There are probably companies out there with far more nefarious intentions of AI and have been silent.
