NaBarney Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Full access to everything anyone is thinking and has ever thought, or no access but you can control anyone's mind to make them do whatever you want? Either way you can only be in one person's head space at a time and you must remain within rock throwing distance of them or the connection will be broken.
Mini_ghost420 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I'd rather read them. being able to read the mind you won't need to control it
NaBarney Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 I'd rather read them. being able to read the mind you won't need to control it But what if you need someone to do something but when you read their mind they're thinking "I ain't never doing that shit in this life"
Mini_ghost420 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 if I can read everything in their head I can come up with something that will convince them
1pooh4u Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I was fully on board to ponder this but then you added the rock throwing distance thing......no fun in that ::HMM::
NaBarney Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 I was fully on board to ponder this but then you added the rock throwing distance thing......no fun in that ::HMM:: Also you have to hold two fingers to your temple the entire time and stare at the person mystically
Mini_ghost420 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 if you can read someone's mind then you can control them very easy. you have access to their ego, fears and all of that. and that would make controlling them easy
Master-Debater131 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Wouldnt being able to control their minds be the same as being able to read it?
NaBarney Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 Wouldnt being able to control their minds be the same as being able to read it? No. What? No.
bnmjy Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Reading minds. I imagine being able to read other's minds would allow me to very easily gain new perspectives. With control, I would probably learn nothing and just becime power hungry.

With control, I would probably learn nothing and just becime power hungry. And also just control is ridiculous. you could control anyone if you could read their mind
Neko Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Reading minds. I would love to read minds. Definitely a skill that would be nice. I work in healthcare and you never know what someone's intention is. Plus it'll come in handy for non verbal or confused patients.
1pooh4u Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Also you have to hold two fingers to your temple the entire time and stare at the person mystically what crappy powers
little_girl_lost Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 control them I don't care what people think
Master-Debater131 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 No. What? No. Well like, when you control their minds you control what they are thinking So like, if you control them to "Hit that guy over there" then they are going to think "hit that guy over there" And couldnt control simply be like, listening in on them?
Hornshire Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Control. Easily. We're not really sure what We'd use it for... Mostly to be left in peace, probably... But it's far better than the alternative. We imagine reading to be a horrific scenario, akin to browsing the internet, but you have no inkling of where any particular link may take you, and every other page you open is the Dumpster Fires of 4chan.
Houdini Splicer Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Control. I don't give a crap what you're thinking, as long as I can say, "Slap yourself unconscious." and you do it.

Mind reading would just get a lot of old commercial jingles and other stuff usually found on the web. Controlling people would just get boring after a while. I'd go with teleportation as a third option.

MEXobiologist Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 neither. of the two, reading seems most appealing but i believe that either would ultimately be damaging to my mind and overall happiness. in the end, i would most likely end up dead. i can't imagine i would use either so casually as to not raise suspicion. ... but if i was forced to choose one, it would be mind reading.
