So, microplastics showing up in human testicles

I'm pretty sure they're in all domesticated animals' testicles too. Microplastics are everywhere. And I guess microplastics has superceded petrochemicals as the major pollutant buzzword. Been hearing it quite frequently lately.

did you know......

that due to the way we process all our foods 99.9% of all foods contain some sort of corn product in it. More farmers on average grow corn and nothing else given the demand for all the shit we put it in.

We as a people have consumed so much corn product that on a molecular level we can see it in our fucking DNA. We have changed our DNA on what we eat, we are corn....we are the children of the corn

Anyone else curious as to whether or not their hypothetical offspring might have Reed Richards type stretching abilities? Maybe I was too hasty on the no kids thing...

Yeah, super powered kids are not just cool, they're probably easier to raise.

The jury seems to still be out on just how much this is actually an issue to reproductive health and well...health as a whole, but for those looking for a silver lining to the plastic rabbit-hole there's this. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20240419-the-worms-that-eat-through-plastic

So we need to put worms in our balls? Do the worms come out the pee hole when they're done?

For comedy sake yes, but the idea is harnessing the power of the enzyme in the worms and scaling it up to reverse plastic pollution in the first place. Does that help with microplastics found at a cellular level? Idk. Maybe. I'll let you be the guinea pig if my nuts are involved....
