I don’t know if this is enough of an impetus to get that criminal thrown out of office, but taking away Netanyahu’s ability to interact with European foreign services will certainly impede his ability to negotiate on behalf of Israel and that will diminish his political power at home.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a rare press conference on Monday evening that the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime was “a new and dramatic chapter.”

“The collapse of the Syrian regime is a direct result of the severe blows with which we have struck Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran,” he said. “The axis has not yet disappeared but as I promised – we are changing the face of the Middle East.”

oh, for sure. it was ok....until it wasn't.

that is, drumpf sent one of his goons, some fucking trade, but make it look like biden was responsible for the collapse of the agreement.

watch.

They definitely will blame Biden. The US rep for my district, Malliotakis, already praised Trump for the cease fire. Republicans are ridiculous

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel was still waiting for a list of hostages to be released and reserved the right to resume the war, with U.S. backing, should the second stage of the ceasefire prove futile.

"If we must return to fighting we will do that in new, forceful ways," Netanyahu said in a video statement.

In Gaza, Israeli warplanes have kept up attacks since the deal was agreed, and pounded the territory on Saturday.

There's never going to be a lasting peace in the middle east, so I just laugh anytime anyone here tries to take credit for making peace over there, particularly when we're the ones supplying most of the bombs and weaponry being used to slaughter people there. The main war might be put on pause, but the underlying behavior fueling the hatred will never go away.

which is exactly why we need to keep our noises out of other countries affairs. we are NOT the police of the world. or no longer. we have lost most of our stronger allies or are in the wake of losing. we need to remove our bases from countries, and take a bite out of the military complex.

we need to focus on our own communities. because THAT's what affects us directly. be useful, to our own.

Hamas staged a public handover ceremony in Khan Younis, southern Gaza on Thursday, displaying four coffins on a stage in front of a poster depicting the likeness of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with fangs and blood on his face.

Hamas said all four, including two children, were killed in Israeli air attacks on Gaza.

“These operations should be done privately out of the utmost respect for the deceased and for those left grieving,” the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said in a statement.

Questions remain over Hamas' handling of Shiri Babas who was "brought home" last night after a body returned on Thursday turned out not to be hers.

The sixth hostage has now been handed over to the Red Cross by Hamas, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have said.
