Did anyone here ever keep their gamer mags from when they were younger?  Nintendo Power, EGM, Gamepro, PCGamer, and so on?

I confess I had a stack of them locked away in my old bedroom in a box.  But I unwisely brought them to my apartment one time intending to make a collage of the 90s era gamer artwork and somehow I got distracted.  They ended up in a dumpster.

Now I can buy individual mags from a huge collection at a local game store.  I picked up an EGM from August 2008 and another from 2006.

Does anyone here want to pour over a collection they have?  They have become completely consolidated into about two companies, can't even find the original 90s era magazines in 2022.  So buy with care.

Nope, all my stuff was given away or in the trash. I used to have a lot of Nintendo Power, EGM, Game Informer, some Gamepro and those PS/Xbox ones that came with the demo discs.

I foolishly burned a huge stack of them to impress some goofy bitch that was living with me....one of my worst mistakes ever....GP, NP, GI, EGM, I had suns to them all and I had absolutely every Nintendo power at one point but now I have maybe 20

i still have some egm issues from the 90s somewhere in a box. most of the time i would read gaming magazines from the store but my mom never bought me any.

I had game pro and egm from sometime in 93 til my sophomore year in high school. I still don’t know why I through them all away.

I was a fool and got rid of them all. To make matters worse, all my demo disks were either given away or lost because only one remains.

It had an awesome demo of Shadow of the Colossus. Burnout’s was good too and I had a surprisingly nice time with LA Rush and The Suffering 2. The Sly Cooper demos were some old freebies though and the One Piece game was pretty bad.

I have a small box of the ones I wanted to keep for various reasons but I left most of them in the closet when I moved years ago. I even go through and read them from time to time. I go to Retromags.com and download scans of issues I don't have or never read.

I have a near complete collection of Famitsu Xbox magazine from it's launch in 2001 until 2010. I stopped at 2010 because it didn't interest me as much anymore. Here are some random pictures

I have roughly 100 Famitsu Xbox magazines, maybe 3 duplicates in all. Have lots of the inserts and extras as well as small collection of other magazines like EGM and various other publications, especially if they focus on the Halo 2 launch.

Part of my collection of gaming memorabilia these days is related to classic Xbox and the first two Halo games, especially stuff from Japan. A lot of it was tied to Famitsu Xbox which seemed to be the defacto source of Xbox stuff in Japan.

Insanely hard. The amount of things they did to promote it were absurd and its no wonder they started backing off within 3 years of entering the market.
