Gnar Father of the Hard
Did anyone here ever keep their gamer mags from when they were younger? Nintendo Power, EGM, Gamepro, PCGamer, and so on? I confess I had a stack of them locked away in my old bedroom in a box. But I unwisely brought them to my apartment one time intending to make a collage of the 90s era gamer artwork and somehow I got distracted. They ended up in a dumpster. Now I can buy individual mags from a huge collection at a local game store. I picked up an EGM from August 2008 and another from 2006. Does anyone here want to pour over a collection they have? They have become completely consolidated into about two companies, can't even find the original 90s era magazines in 2022. So buy with care. Ric
Nope, all my stuff was given away or in the trash. I used to have a lot of Nintendo Power, EGM, Game Informer, some Gamepro and those PS/Xbox ones that came with the demo discs.

André Toulon
I foolishly burned a huge stack of them to impress some goofy bitch that was living with me....one of my worst mistakes ever....GP, NP, GI, EGM, I had suns to them all and I had absolutely every Nintendo power at one point but now I have maybe 20

I had game pro and egm from sometime in 93 til my sophomore year in high school. I still don’t know why I through them all away.
Chapinator_X
I was a fool and got rid of them all. To make matters worse, all my demo disks were either given away or lost because only one remains. It had an awesome demo of Shadow of the Colossus. Burnout’s was good too and I had a surprisingly nice time with LA Rush and The Suffering 2. The Sly Cooper demos were some old freebies though and the One Piece game was pretty bad.
Gnar Father of the Hard
I remember demo discs. That was a great way to market, like shareware for pc and Mac. Edited August 7, 2022 by Gnar Father of the Hard

Greeny
I have a small box of the ones I wanted to keep for various reasons but I left most of them in the closet when I moved years ago. I even go through and read them from time to time. I go to Retromags.com and download scans of issues I don't have or never read.
Gnar Father of the Hard
EGMNOW is defaulted to GameCenter magazine, in other words the Walmart and Target grab bag. Do they even have editorials like old school EGM? What happened to the premium mag? It was up and running for about a year in 2015..! GunStarHero
I have a near complete collection of Famitsu Xbox magazine from it's launch in 2001 until 2010. I stopped at 2010 because it didn't interest me as much anymore. Here are some random pictures I have roughly 100 Famitsu Xbox magazines, maybe 3 duplicates in all. Have lots of the inserts and extras as well as small collection of other magazines like EGM and various other publications, especially if they focus on the Halo 2 launch. Part of my collection of gaming memorabilia these days is related to classic Xbox and the first two Halo games, especially stuff from Japan. A lot of it was tied to Famitsu Xbox which seemed to be the defacto source of Xbox stuff in Japan.
The_annoying_one
I’ve got a pretty sizable stack of game magazines from the early 90s to the earlyish 2000s. Most of them are in fair condition.

The amount of things they did to promote it were absurd and its no wonder they started backing off within 3 years of entering the market. SwimOdin
I have almost 100 Nintendo Powers at my parents house. My Mom keeps asking me to take them. I want to, but my garage is full. I have close to that in EGMs too.
[classic swim]
Not sure if this helps, but these are a few strategy booklets I’ve managed to hold on to. Should have at least a Max Payne one rotting around somewhere that my brother might’ve took off with a long time ago.
