Jman Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Final Final Season? Final Mix featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series? 2 Quote
PokeNirvash Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 This is why I'm just lumping all the various seasons of Final Season into just one "Final Season". Currently at 28 episodes, may increase to 40 by the time this next one drops. 1 Quote

DangerMouse Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 (edited) Hell yes, doing it right and not rushing. Great news IMO. Edited April 3, 2022 by DangerMouse 1 Quote
OwlChemist81 Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 I concur. Hey, The Walking Dead is getting a 3-part conclusion, so I have no problem with this! In fact I welcome this news! Come on, [as], let this series have a weeknight slot from the beginning this fall! 1 Quote
PenguinBoss Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Hopefully they've used all this time to think up a better ending. 1 Quote
Sketch Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 The final battle is going to need all the time and love it can get and could do with some fleshing out. So I think that was a good call. Give us 10 to 12 episodes to adapt the last 9 chapters and not skimp on the details. 2 Quote

And yeah, why is this called Final Season, if it's not final! Quote

The three-part split over two-plus years is just what happens when you adapt it into an anime format while cutting as little as possible. Edited December 4, 2022 by PokeNirvash Quote

OwlChemist81 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) Yes, that was the end of The Walking Dead, on 11/20/22. Yes, there will be an assload of spinoffs, but the main series has ended. Edited December 9, 2022 by OwlChemist81 Quote

I'm guessing the workload would be too much to finish it all in one go? Or it wouldn't, but it would take them like 5 years to make it with those production values haha. In that case, something like "Final Saga" or "Final Chapter" or "Final Act" would've been better. I can't think of a title that's particularly fitting for Attack on Titan, but you know what I mean. OwlChemist81 Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) Incidentally, BLEACH: TYBW is going to have a similar structure, as a 4-cour final arc that airs alternating seasons; the only difference is rather than having to wait 9 months to a year on the next cour as we did with AOT, we'll only have to wait about 3 months! I was wondering why Bleach is having to take breaks too, if the manga is done. But the production values on this new series are pretty insane. Is it so the animators don't die? 🤣 1 Quote
