We got an entire kitchen worth of Kitchen Aide appliances, and they're top quality.  The trash compactor kinda looks like shit, but it works flawlessly.  Just remodeled so we have an all new stove top, downdraft, double oven and dishwasher.

Ours is about 5 years old. Disco wanted one, so I bought her one and then it sat in the box for a year or two before it ever got used.

Some things you just have to pay the extra money for, and KitchenAid is worth paying the extra money for. I have no complaints with any of their products. Also, I'm jealous.

We did have a KitchenAid store in Savannah, but they shut down a few years ago.

I also want to get another Le Creuset dutch oven. We have one and that thing always comes in handy.

They are pretty pricey too. But worth it as well.

Looks like the 1969 model is pretty similar to today's model.

Its still being made which is convenient parts and attachments for older models tend to become hard to get

i wish i had a kitchen aid mixer, all i have is an electric handheld mixer that is prolly 30 years old

If your hand mixer is 30 years old and still working, then that mixer has defied the laws of hand mixers.

Packard would follow up with a blurry image that you can't tell if it's a mixer or a kidnapped victim tied up in the reverse cowgirl position.

damn you beat me to it

And they say they don't make things the way they used to.

Wait, someone's doing anal for Kitchen Aid appliances?

Yes. Ghostrek wants to ram his meat in your mixer.

Bend over. KitchenAid ain't easy.

So true, being an aid is said to be one of the most labor intensive and emotionally draining jobs out there.

Draining ghost would be an emotional job.

Nice. You’re not lying. My grandmother’s Kitchen Aid mixer still works, as well. The thing has to be at least 35 to 40 years old by now. I am still using some of their cookware from 15 years ago, too. They make good stuff.

I have to ask this, because I’m curious. Which one did you go with? They added more stuff to their “Pro” series around then (at least, according to one my grandmother’s letters).
