You quit Wendy's? Are you working now?

Yes, I quit that bullcrap. I'm back to busking, though I've been coasting on stimulus check money for a little while. (It lasts when you're not paying rent or anything) In the process of picking up some additional skills. Learned how to weld and made this rocket stove yesterday.

I hear most cases of fast food related food poisoning comes from the ice machine.

You could be right. I did get a drink this time, and I normally don't when I go there.

Still, I'm not going there ever again . . . meaning, maybe some time later this year. 🙄

You might want to check in with your dr if it continues.  I was down for 2 weeks after eating at a restaurant a friend talked up.  Naturally he was fine, but I could barely crawl to the toidy.

I'm pretty fine today, so I don't really think that's necessary. I have a strong gut, I think. I never had a bad reaction to food that lasted a long time.

It isn't so much the ice machine. It's the pop. The lines are plastic and require mandatory flushing out and super cleaning regularly otherwise the sugar syrups leave traces in the lines that breed bacteria because bacteria loves sugar. If the lines aren't maintained 100% [ which they rarely are because it's tedious ] , those buggy bits have a chance to build up and transfer to the soda as it gets pushed through the lines. Most people might not notice anything, some will blame the food if there are problems. It all depends on your particular health at the moment you took a sip.
